The views from the top of Conwy Castle were wonderful!! This cute little town is mostly contained within the old city walls (which you can walk). To the south, Snowdonia Regional Park is visible on a clear day. To the north, the bay. •
This was our favorite castle we visited. It was mostly in ruins, but there was so much to learn and we enjoyed using our imagination to fill in the details. They also had this fun enhanced reality game that would surely keep kiddos of all ages entertained! More in our stories. •
Travel hint: get there early! The car park is small and fills up quickly. We arrived at opening, and by the time we left right after lunch, people were following us to our car to claim our spot. •

Happy Friday!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I have a brand new blog post up today and it’s all about what I pack in our travel first aid kit 🏥
I asked you guys a few weeks ago when we were packing if you’d be interested and the response was overwhelming. Traveling and packing with littles can be a bit intimidating so hopefully this helps ease some of that next time you travel... as a nurse and a mama of ✌🏻, I know how it’s always best to prepare for the worse! Direct link in profile 👶🏼👦🏼🌡💊
The sun, the sand, the crying followed by the laughters and the bananas; a well spent summer!!
We have bets going on how long the ol' cheap knock off yoyo is going to last this trip. With unexpected 30°+ days its copping a beating. #toddlertravels
Not the best picture... it's slightly out of focus, but it demonstrates the best tool we have as #physicianspouses
, technology 📱💻🖥
Little miss and I were recently out of town for a wedding, and of course the hubs had to work. This is unfortunately common for lots of #physicianfamilies
. The #residentphysician
, or #DOctor
has to work while the family goes out of town
Rather than causing resentment or hurt feelings on both sides of #FOMO
, my hubs and I try to encourage each other to take the opportunities as they come because #residencybudget
limits them for sure.
However now in the days of cellphones 📱 we have so many apps and abilities to share or adventures digitally. Our family is a big fan of Marco Polo. We are able to record videos that Dad/Hubs can go back and watch at any time. It's also a great way for our extended family to keep everyone current on life events.
Technology can be overwhelming, but we have tried to take it and use it to the benefit of our family. What are you favorite apps to stay connected to your #residentdoctor

Last day in paradise with these two 👧🏼👧🏼
Leaving Cardiff on our way to northern Wales, we stopped for a little hike in Brecon Beacons. This national forest has all sorts of adventures for families to check out! Hikes, cave exploring, paragliding...pretty much any outdoor activity you could want. We decided on a short hike to Henrhyd Falls, as the Babe is too little for the more exciting outdoor adventures, and we were trying to reach Snowdonia before the sun set. Unfortunately, a wrong turn out of Breacon Beacons meant we completely missed Snowdonia, and ended up driving back through England to get to Conwy. I guess we’ll have to plan a future trip to the western coast of Wales! It’s beautiful country! More in our stories...including a fun little restaurant with a mini zoo!
P. S. Shout out to @grizzandtamintaipei
for sharing info about the Photoshop Fix app. Now those pesky people who would not get out of my shot are magically gone! 🤣

Verity looking super grown up watching The Greatest Showman (he really wasn’t) on holiday. 🎩😝
I'll be honest, this trip has taken a lot out of me, mentally. I drove over 3.5 hours yesterday. And wrangling a toddler solo, with a bum foot, is exhausting. I just don't have it in me to do something tourist-y today.
Down the road from our hotel is the most awesome recreational park that has THREE playgrounds. The wooden "Wacky World" is so big there's no way to fit it in one frame.
AJ played until she was dripping sweat. The humidity doesn't agree with her, haha.

It’s been about a week since we flew home to Coronado. Mo and I had a really great trip to our birth state... we saw lots of family and friends, collected cousin kisses, celebrated birthdays and babies, played in the sand, swam in the Oklahoma ocean (Lake Eufaula), flew in Moriah’s 44-47th airplanes, and purchased a brand new 18 month wardrobe (Thanks, Grammy)! So much fun was had, yet it always feels nice to get home and settle into some normalcy. . . .
P.S They change so much at this age, guys!!! We were gone for two weeks, and Moriah has like 50 new vocabulary words ... just like that! . . . When did your toddler’s language skills really start to take off ? #theydontstaylittlelong #thesearethedays #homeagainhomeagain #themagicofchildhood #coronadoferrylanding #runwildmychild #futuretrackstar #fastandfurious
"Time is the most precious part of human existence"
So many good things have happened and will happen to me... but ever thought that your reactions are not aligned with event that is happening?? I have taken stock lately and taken a step back and realised what I have not been effectively using my time and my energy has therefore been waste. Not feeling the peaks as I am too much in a rush to resolve the next thing, to feel fulfilled.
So yes, my focus will be on being a good mother, a wife, my Bailey's, my small network of friends ( who I really think about all the time, sorry i have been continuously naff at keeping in touch) and work (just got promoted which was pretty amazing and draining all in the same breath, cannot believe it🙏😁😔🙏) and my passions (home and business). Completely think we should not rush our time, be patient, be efficient, cut the bad energy around you. Someone else's time is NOT more important than your own. Be true to yourself and your time. If a situation is mentally exhausting you... get out of it!! #timeisprecious #mindfulness
Ask Elliot what she did yesterday and she will hold her little fingers up and say “Go on a train, a plane, a bus and our blue car to our new house!” Happy to be home. 💙 #toddlertravels
We’re hunting dragons! 🐉 We’ve already seen several just in the first two days of our trip! We started capturing them when we went to the Cotswolds for a day of exploring. On our way from Cardiff, we stopped at Broadway-Middle Hill where there was a tower that reminded us a lot of a certain fairytale about a princess named Rapunzel. We made it to three other towns, Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water, and a quick drive past Bibury. It’s a lovely area, and we had a fun day exploring! Check out our stories for more pictures!

Shall we take the road less traveled?? If that means tent camping in the woods when the kids outnumber the adults......then yes! Don’t mind if we do!
Hunter & Wolfe jet lagged AF 😂🇦🇺 forcing toddlers into a new time zone results in two emotionally unstable little gremlins, so it’s almost been a week of taking things slower extra naps and extra mealtimes (3am 😬) so I am happy to say they successfully slept from 7pm -7am 🎉🎉 we’re adjusted!!!😘
Traveling 24hrs with toddlers was tough, but we did it!!! The boys where so good, they slept a lot and didn’t complain much but it’s hard for them to sit in the one place so long, what I’ve learned is I would definitely do a layover for at least one day instead of Like 30mins.. It’s been almost a week since we did it and I’d say it takes a week to recover 🤣😬🇦🇺🇦🇺
We made it out alive! My Aspen whooped by this toddler/ prego trek. Something about the luster of soaking in the fleeting golden leaves is a little.... ummm...different this year. Our shell shocked faces are the remnants of what energy we conserved to barrel back down the mountain, hit a deer and crawl back into my parents house. Begging for naps...full hearts and sore backs. #steamboatcolorado #toddlertravels #nonaps #altitudetraining
