Before I found Beachbody 7 years ago..... I had just gotten out of a verbally abusive relationship. I was really lost in who I was, my self confidence and looking back I really didnt have any self love for myself. I was a full time college student working MANY part time jobs but I was still living paycheck to paycheck. Monthly my bank accounts would be overdrawn and Id have to ask my mom to put money in my account.
Funny thing is that I was going to school for exercise science and psychology because deep down in my soul I knew there was something more.
Something more than drinking and partying every weekend.
Something more to living paycheck to paycheck. Something more than a 9-5 job.
I had this scary goal or vision you could say of some day being a work from home mom to raise my babies (remember I was only 22 when I started this). I wanted to support my some day family by helping other women with their health and fitness.
I knew I wanted to work for myself and I wanted the freedom to take care of myself and my future family. I wanted more freedom than a 9-5 job could ever give me.
Not to mention --- I was sick and tired of sitting at a desk and looking out the window at sunny days thinking “Theres more for me out there". I also wanted to surround myself with people who wanted something better and wanted an active and healthy lifestyle. Women who wanted more out of their lives.
So, at age 22 when Beachbody came into my life, I took a chance on it and it turned out to be the best decision of my life!
Fast forward 7 years and here I am writing an email to you from the comfort of my home office and my 2 year old toddler is actually at daycare, not because he HAS to be but because he CAN be.
My purpose in life is to help you do the same and/or help you just create a life you done think “is this it? There has to be more." Circuit training 🏋️
A circuit training is an excellent way to simultaneously work on your strength and cardiovascular fitness. A full body work-out, which also saves time. Sounds good doesn't it? But what is a circuit training exactly?
It's a form of training where participants rotate through a number of stations, performing different exercises to time or repetitions, with minimum rest until the circuit is completed. There are various ways of constructing a circuit, but they would normally contain several movements including body weight, weighted and dynamic exercises.
Advantages of a circuit training: 🏋️ The whole body is often trained in a circuit. This is ideal for people who can not exercise so often, but still want to train the whole body.
🏋️ The muscle groups are individually worked during circuit training. This has the advantage that the muscle becomes stronger.
🏋️ Circuit training is an accessible way of training for many people, because circuit training does not have a strict entry level. So, every age and every fitness level can join this fun workout.
🏋️ It is a super workout for your general endurance. A circuit can contain as many as fifteen exercises and a set of fifteen repetitions takes a minute.
🏋️ The advantage of circuit training is that it is in a group, so you can stimulate each other to give that little extra and have fun workout out together.
