4:30am: Wake up because I can’t fall back to sleep. Look at phone until 5am.
5am: Take shower.
5:30am: Make breakfast, pack lunches, feed dogs, let dogs out, eat breakfast, get Quinn’s school bag ready.
6:30am: Dry hair, put on makeup, change the laundry.
6:45am: Quinn wakes up. Bring her breakfast, get myself dressed.
7am: Tell Quinn it’s time to get ready which is always met with resistance. Ask about 10 more times.
7:15am: Get Quinn dressed and hair done.
7:30am: Leave for school.
7:37am: Commute to work sitting in bumper to bumper traffic.
8:15am-5pm: Werk werk werk werk werk. (read in your best Rihanna voice)
5pm: Commute to pick up Quinn from school sitting in bumper to bumper traffic.
5:45pm: Get home, let dogs out, feed dogs, check the mail, put out the trash, clean out Quinn’s bag and check for homework, listen to stories of 1st grade recess.
6pm: Change into sweat pants, make dinner, eat dinner.
7pm: Quinn bath and ready for bed.
7:40pm: Try to squeeze in some reading and quality time with Quinn.
8pm: Put Quinn to bed. BREATHE. Wonder to self if it’s too early to go to bed while falling down some random Instagram hole.
9pm: Drag your exhausted ass to bed so that you can do it again tomorrow.
I can tell I’m having a “flare”, I’m nursing a bladder infection and am on antibiotics which I know will further wreak havoc on my system. I’m exhausted, like the exhausted you guys know.
And you know what? This dishes will have to wait. And as much as I HATE leaving them until tomorrow; I just can’t tonight. And that has to be okay. The hardest part of this illness is learning to give myself a break. #workinprogress

I got sucked into the #hype
You know when you get so excited about a product that you go for it blindly. You’re like “yes, this is gonna change EVERYTHING.” I got sucked into the hype for a year and a half. Not really knowing if it was doing anything for me. .
So then I stopped ✋🏾This stuff ain’t cheap, so I stopped. .
Then I started getting nauseous and dizzy. I gained 7 pounds but told myself that it was muscle gain from all of the lifting I was doing. I was constantly bloated and irritable. At one point I thought I was #pregnant
because everything changed so dramatically over 6 weeks. .
I went to the doctor to see what was wrong with me. She couldn’t figure it out and my blood test came back normal. My #fibroids
weren’t acting up, my #thyroidproblems
was normal and I wasn’t pregnant. 😢
Then it hit me. I stopped drinking my shakes. 🤦🏾♀️
The one thing that I thought was insignificant was actually the thing keeping me from the doctor. .
So cheers to NEVER not drinking my nutrient #superfoodshake
again. I never want to feel this out of control of my body again. So I repurchased it with the new 20 minute workouts and I am back on track for 2019. .

I’m not gonna lie. I am in my jam & feel my absolute best/high vibe when I give myself some love & self care ❤️☀️
To me, this involves connecting with my morning rituals(yoga or lifting, reading, sunshine, listening to jazz, meditation, journaling) etc. if I don’t get it, I feel disconnected. This can throw everything off, including our lovely hormones.
Keeping your mindset strong and happy, being super positive, eating really well, and taking care of your energy is so F important.
