When I sat her down to ask what her insecurities were, she listed almost all physical things. As women, we are so critical of ourselves, especially physically. Kyla has let many of her insecurities deeply affect her life, relationships with family, friends, and most strongly in her love-life. She feels they have held her back in the past completely. I think we can all agree we have been there. Holding back is easy to do. I will be the first to raise my hand. As Kyla has succeeded in her job most recently, she has learned self-care as she looks over others in the same way. Sometimes, life hands you what you need to help you see yourself different and In more of a positive way. It could be a job, a person, a moment, etc. Look for those things. Kyla and I both agreed it takes a little bit of self discipline and perspective to see qualities in yourself you need to love, especially physically.
Me this morning running to the potty on the other side of the campground 🙃 just looking at this makes me have pee again.
Next time, I park closer.
Today’s going to be an easy day as I make my way to Mt cook. My eyeballs CANNOT WAIT! I’ve also come to the conclusion that kiwis are the nicest people ever.
