Today, I got to watch @_savannafielder
do squats and deadlifts while I did a whole lot of "taking it easy." Yesterday, the chiropractor told me not to squat or deadlift until I'm all healed up. I figured that was coming. Honestly, I know that's the approach I should've taken from the start. I was just too stubborn to actually do it. I can still bench, but I have some stupid restrictions regarding benching. I'm free and clear to do anything else that doesn't cause pain, so there's still a lot I can do. After working out, we went out to the beach and I got to sit in the cool salt water which made my SI joint very happy ❤️

My best friend gave me this skirt a while back, it’s a size ✌🏻. My legs, not always a size 2. When I first tried it on, I couldn’t wear it because I could barely spread my legs apart to walk in it without shuffling.

➡️. So what’s a “mom bod”. I hear this a lot from other moms. “ I have a mom bod” . And I’m like 🤔🤔. You choose your mom bod, it can be whatever you want it to look like. Our physical image is something we have full control of, not cool to make excuses by blaming our children. The question is how bad do you want it? Is it easier to blame childbirth? Absolutely. Do I feel bad for you? Absolutely not. My genes don’t make me get up early as shit to work on it, my genes don’t meal prep for me . It’s is hard work but nothing beats the feeling of looking in the mirror and see your time, discipline and dedication paid off. If I can make time ANYONE can make time!
People that don’t grind like me see it as “narcissistic behavior”. I see it as loving the hell out of myself and then some.
