for those just joining us, hi! My name is Melissa and I am a dysfunctional mess who takes far too long to get her sole human self out the door in the morning. My quantitative career (for bills, health insurance, etc.) is in higher-ed marketing management, but my qualitative career (the one that sets my soul on fire and pays for the extras) is running my own makeup and skincare consulting business. nothing is more fulfilling for me than pouring into someone else to help them feel more secure, confident, and truly #happy

as someone who has struggled with for years with anxiety, depression, and ADHD (none of it being officially diagnosed or dealt with until very recently...PS I’m 27 😬) I’ve found that I’ve been able to cope through all things beauty, personal development, and traveling 🌎 hours upon days upon weeks over the last year have been spent digging really deep and coming face to face with my issues, getting a grip on the fear voice in my head, and learning how to not only deal with but #embrace
