Bruce Willis. Aunque pocos lo sepan tiene editados 3 discos: Return of Bruno, If it don’t kill you, it just makes you stronger y Classic Bruce Willis: The Universal Masters Collection.

#Glass Movie Review (3.5/5): Only three weeks into the new year and I still have yet to see a complete abomination. #MNightShyamalan is infamous for being one of the most inconsistent directors of all time. He has created masterpieces, like #Signs and #TheSixthSense , and also a lot of duds, like #TheLadyInTheWater and #TheHappening . “Glass” is a long anticipated cross over between two of his more memorable works, #Split and #Unbreakable . Though this mashup does seem a little unnecessary, given a tagged on connection at the conclusion of “Split”, I love the end product. It’s imperfect but enjoyable in many aspects. Where the film does lose sight is in its over use of comic book and superhero jargon. It is possible for viewers, unfamiliar to its inspired material, to see this for what it is but it’s in a genre of its own. “Glass” is fairly lengthy, clocking in at over two hours, but it is a fun and action packed ride that’s unlike many films released today. Whereas Hollywood is flooded with sequels and remakes, this is a passion project that #Shymalan has brought to life for fans. I will admit, some of the script falls into fits of stretched dialogue and may seem tedious to seasoned viewers. “Glass” isn’t an award worthy blend of two more inspired films, but it is a fun and, at times emotional nostalgia fest that is a rightful enough conclusion to an unnecessary “franchise”. #BruceWillis , #SamuelLJackson and #JamesMcAvoy make this a memorable B movie. #Film #Movie #MovieReview #MovieReviews #Horror #SciFi #Action #Thriller #Superhero #Superheroes #Hero #TheBeast #MrGlass #MovieNews #InstaFollow #WMKMovieReviews
Last up before I see @glassmovie tomorrow. A true return to form. Good, bad, middle-of-the-road.....it doesn’t really matter at this point. M. Night Shyamalan has cemented a legacy as one of the biggest names in suspense and, either way, I can’t wait til tomorrow night! “The broken are the more evolved. Rejoice.” 🙂🙃
With GLASS opening in theaters tonight, I want to know what your favorite M. Night Shyamalan film is. There’s no doubt that he’s made some horrible bombs (Lady in the Water and The Last Airbender, yikes!), but he’s also made some great films. Rewatched #Unbreakable for no particular reason (cough #Glass cough) and it still is my favourite #MNightShyamalan film. #BruceWillis gives some of the best dramatic acting of his career, #SamuelLJackson is a perfect, deep, painful and relatable villain in Mr. Glass, #EduardoSerra ’s camerawork is outstanding, #JamesNewtonHoward ’s score is truly incredible in every way, #DylanTichenor ’s editing is impeccable, and while Shyamalan’s writing can suffer a few times with dialogue (a trend that would increase movie to movie), his direction is just phenomenal at every moment. Just an exquisite and deeply moving film that deserves the love it gets today! #unbreakablemovie #split #splitmovie #glassmovie #eastrail177 #eastrail177trilogy #thesixthsense #robinwright #robinwrightpenn #signs #thevillage #ladyinthewater #thehappening #thelastairbender #afterearth #thevisit #superhero #drama #film #movies #review

Throwback Thursday review (2 of 2)- 4.25/5 ⭐️- “Split” is chapter 2 of “The Eastrail 177 Trilogy”.” Split” follows Kevin Crumb (McAvoy) a man with 23 different personalities who kidnaps and imprisons three teenage girls in an isolated underground facility. This film featured an all time Shyamalan twist, which is very known now and talking about it isn’t really a spoiler since everybody knows that this film was a secret sequel to “Unbreakable”. I remember being at the theater opening day and being amazed at how great the film was only to see Bruce Willis’ cameo as David Dunn and going omggg, now unlike a lot of people in the theater I wasn’t saying this because “oh shit it was Bruce” but because I instantly got that this film was set in the same universe as “Unbreakable”. It was honestly one of the single best moments I’ve ever experienced on the big screen. Now I know that the saying “less is more” is true at times, I can’t lie and say I wasn’t disappointed that McAvoy only displayed about 6 personalities in this film; as marketing relied heavily on him having 23, which is an issue I hope “Glass” fixes but doesn’t overdue it. This film keeps you on the edge of your seat and intrigued with a great horror/thriller vibe all throughout the movie, along with fascinating therapy scenes. Like“Unbreakable”, a super hero’s origin story, “Split” was a super villains origin story. This is perhaps the first time I can remember a film being completely devoted to the origins of a villain. It is something that I hope that along with Joaquin’s upcoming “Joker” we see more of, as there is many great villains that could use grounded gritty origin stories. ________ James McAvoy delivers a tour de force performance, definitely up there with one of the best of the decade.Playing 2 roles is challenging enough for any actor but James obviously has way more than just 2 roles to balance, it is a testament to his talent on how he would switch personas continuously within seconds.#Split #unbreakable #jamesmcavoy #thehorde #mnightshayamalan #glass #thesixthsense #xmen #professorx #brucewillis #daviddunn #thevisit #thelastkingofscotland #mrglass #thehappening #samuelljackson #thevillage

Throwback Thursday review (1 of 2)- 4/5 ⭐️- “Unbreakable” is the first chapter in the “Eastrail 177 Trilogy”, it was followed by “Split” and “Glass”. The film follows David Dunn (Willis) who survives a horrific train crash (Eastrail 177). After the incident, with the help of a disabled comic art gallery owner named Elijah Price (Jackson), he learns that he possesses superhuman powers. This is a fantastic movie that was slept on during its original release because the studio stupidly marketed the movie as a supernatural thriller like M. Nights previous film the Oscar nominated classic “The Sixth Sense”, instead of what it was; a comic book movie. I have always been a fan of it since the first time I saw it, only appreciating it more as I’ve gotten older for the way it told a very grounded superhero origin story. It really asked us the question “What if Superman was here on earth and didn’t know he was Superman?” It is honestly a great deconstruction of the super hero genre, it’s amazing quality is made more evident now due to the current super hero craze. I am also a huge fan of that amazing and recognizable score, simply brilliant. Being older and seeing “Split”, the hints to how “Split” connects to “Unbreakable” are more noticeable. For anyone who is a fan of “Split” and is looking forward to “Glass” dropping tonight this is an obvious required viewing before hand. _______________ The film features one of Bruce Willis’ greatest performances, it was different from his usual brainless action roles, giving him a chance to dig deep into a fascinating role and character who’s origin story served as a great character piece that had fantastic growth throughout the movie. Sam as Elijah Price who was born with Type I Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a rare disease that renders sufferers' bones extremely fragile and prone to fracture, was a delight and great to see as the total opposite of Willis’ David. Thanks to M. Nights fantastic script, Sam kills the numerous monologues he’s given of comic book lore/comic exposition in trying to get David to realize what he truly is.#Unbreakable #Split #Glass #MNightShayamalan #theSixthSense #TheVisit #TheHappening #LadyInTheWater #DavidDunn #Signs
The Sixth Sense | Movie Review Rating: 5/5 I regret putting off seeing this masterpiece due to most people around me have spoiled the film for me. While Sixth Sense isn't my favorite film of Shyamalan's work, it's in my top 3 of his films, following Signs and Unbreakable. A boy who communicates with spirits seeks the help of a disheartened child psychologist. M. Night Shyamalan has always been one of my favorite filmmakers and this is just another reason why I love his work. Films like this, Unbreakable, Signs, Split and The Village all have unbelievable replay value and incredibly layered details naked to our eyes on first viewing. With each viewing, new details are discovered and thoughts on the films improve each viewing. I love when filmmakers do that. The acting and story balance so well with the dramatic and suspenseful themes that it all wraps up into a beautiful bow come the credits. For those who have yet to see this film, silence those who speak of it's secrets. And that goes for any other film too. Up next, Glass. #thesixthsense #brucewillis #haleyjoelosment #tonicollette #donniewahlberg #oliviawilliams #trevormorgan #mnightshyamalan #unbreakable #split #glassmovie #touchstonepictures #bluray #cinema #moviereview #likeforlike #followforfollowback
Another #Throwback since #GlassMovie is coming out this friday, to one of my alltime favorite movies, #Unbreakable . Possibly my favorite #ComicBook /#Superhero movie. Argubly #MNightShyamalan 's best work, that or #TheSixthSense , which I hold in admiration as well. It's a movie that continuously gives me chills whenever I see it or talk about it, which is why I seemingly post about it every year. It's certainly #Underrated when it initially came out 19 years ago (misadvertised when it was released), as it talked about Comic Books before its cinematic zeitgeist & boom that'd shortly come after that'll happen all the way till now. Its certainly a #Masterpiece . I think the whole thing is #genius . Its highly ambitious, inventive, thought provoking, resonant, & heartfelt. There's so many themes and elements it touches on, such as deconstructing what it means to be a hero & finding one's purpose in life. __ The beauty of this is that its grounded within reality. It never plays as a straight up comic book movie, nor does it overtly feel like one. It feels rather like a #DramaMovie that's shrouded in #Mystery , or vice versa. It feels real. As #Shyamalan says, we confront these comic book characters, as if they're based on real people. Even as we're watching, we get these nuanced elements of #Superman , #Batman & such playing throughout. Its shrouded in mystery & paces itself so well, a slow burn as we get see more-and-more layers unraveling till its brilliant ending. We also get subdued yet fantastic & endearing performances from #BruceWillis & #SamuelLJackson , who play these sympathetic individuals. It's a #loveletter to comics & the people who love it. Shyamalan was ahead of his time here, and I'm glad that its gotten quite a beloved legacy & following since then. Although I'm incredibly glad there was a follow up (a rather pleasantly unexpected one) with #Split , as well as a trilogy capping threequel with #Glass -- this movie can stand on its own, sequel or not, and I #LoveIt 💙 __ Got the DVDs, I gotta find my ol ticket stubs from it. __ #ThrowbackMovie #Dopeness #DopeAF #DopeMovie #LovedTheMovie #GreatMovie #GreatFilm #ClassicFilm #ClassicMovie

The Rise, Stumble & Stumbling Rise of M. Night Shyamalan - #6 The Village (2004) - Of all the movies in M. Night Shyamalan's filmography, 'The Village' is the one I'm most interested in seeing its overall perception evolve with time. How will it be viewed 25 or 50 years from now? 'The Sixth Sense' will most likely maintain the stature it has now and further evolve into a primary pillar of the horror genre. Something like 'Unbreakable', which seemingly gains new fans every day, will continue to grow in reputation and solidify itself as one of the best superhero movies ever made. And finally, I believe 'Signs', which a lot of people regard as their favorite Shyamalan film, will be revisited and reevaluated for years to come by those who, on first viewing, felt disappointment. But 'The Village' is a tricky one to predict. Despite not being a fan of this film initially, I’ve come to really respect it. I believe it to be Shyamalan's most underrated film, even misunderstood due to a deceptive marketing campaign and poor word of mouth. What I hope for is that those people who received a movie that they weren't expecting at all give it a second chance. It might actually surprise you, like it did me. The film follows a pacifist community of people, cut off from the outside world, that live in Covington, an isolated Pennsylvanian village with its own rituals and customs; the color red is forbidden, while yellow offers protection. Run by a council of Elders, reminiscent of the Amish, everyone has to stay within village boundaries as the surrounding forest contain dangerous creatures. The villagers have a truce with these creature, but they now have reason to believe that this uneasy alliance is coming to an end. Many people went into this film thinking it would be a terrifying, edge-of-your-seat classic monster movie, which it isn't. It is a slow, and at times dry, mood-piece that's part fable, tragic love story and rustic hero's journey. It's more concerned with exploring philosophical questions that deal with using terror as a means to control society and critiquing human nature as it pertains to being in perpetual fear of an enemy we’ve never actually seen. 🔽🔽🔽

#TasteThePopcorn #MovieReview . * * Thriller #1 : THE SIXTH SENSE (1999) . CREDITS: -Direction: M. Night Shyamalan. -Screenplay: M. Night Shyamalan. -Starring: Bruce Willis, Toni Collette, Olivia Williams, Haley Joel Osment. -Music: James Newton Howard. PREMISE: An isolated kid that has the ability to see and talk with dead people... to this kind of power, M. Night refers to it as “The Sixth Sense”. PLOT: Haley Joel Osment starts as Coel Sear, an insecure kid that starts to uncover the real truth about his life, and with the help of child psychologist Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis) who, as similar to Cole, has a trouble past, and together will help each other to heal each other’s wounds. THOUGHTS: This is an old time classic and one of the best works of Shyamalan. The story is brilliant, the idea of a kid who has the power to see dead people is so creative, and with the performance of Haley Joel Osment, the movie is delicious. In the other hand, the performance of Bruce Willis is really good, but it suffers with a lack of carisma form the actor. And Toni Collette, who betrays Coles mother... she’s one of the best parts of the movie. The car scene, where she found a out the truth of her mother, is my favorite part of the movie, and that’s because of her awesome performance. Now talking about cinematography, the use of color RED whenever a ghost is around was a clever way to bring tension to the scenes. M. Night Shyamalan is well known for making excellent movies, but sometimes he brings to us some of the worst. Great fully, the Sixth Sense is one of the best horror movies of all time and will stick to us in our minds for eternity. FINAL VERDICT: I give THE SIXTH SENSE an: A+ . * * #TheSixthSense #Thriller #Horror #HaleyJoelOsment #BruceWillis #MNightShyamalan #Ghost #DeadPeople #ISeeDeadPeople #Kid #Psychologist #Movie #Review

“Now we know who you are, I know who I am” Dug out one of my first ever blu rays to rewatch before Glass Friday. Shocking how many people have never seen unbreakable. Arguably the best film M Night Shyamalan has ever done. I just hope glass doesn’t disappoint. #unbreakable #glass #mnightshyamalan #brucewillis #samuelljackson #robinwrightpenn #jamesnewtonhoward #bluray #comicbook #daviddunn #nowwatching #hd #countdowntoglass #thesixthsense
With the release of Glass this week I thought I would rank M.Night Shyamalan's movies from worst to best (didn't include his directorial debut as I've never seen it). I've always liked his storytelling and style and felt for him when Hollywood seemed to turn against him. Sure he's made some duds but even Hitchcock did, that's all I'm saying. #11 After Earth (ok this was bad, should of called it after birth, full of shit and nobody wanted it) #10 The Last Air Bender (It was mediocre but I wouldn't say the worst big budget movie I've ever seen) #9 Wide Awake (it's an OK movie it's just that this could of been made by anybody, no style at all) #8 The Visit (not a fan of found footage but I was of this playfully nasty little horror) #7 The Lady In The Water (I think this is so underrated, they don't make enough movies about water nymphs) #6 Split (while I didn't get as hyped about it as some I did enjoy this. "I Got Red Socks" is my favorite MNS line of dialogue) #5 Unbreakable (I admit that I didn't get it at first. years later watched it and now I do and it's outstanding) #4 Signs (creepy, suspenseful and lovable) #3 The Happening (This film got so much hate but I absolutely love it, B-Movie classic, change my mind. One word BirdBox) #2 The Village (The Film Everyone Hates and I Love, it beautiful, suspenseful and a master at his craft. And yes I lived the twist ending. Fuck logic!) #1 The Sixth Sense (No explanation needed, it's in a class of it's own) #mnightshyamalan #thesixthsense #thevillage #signs #thehappening #unbreakable #ladyinthewater #split #glass #thevisit #movienerd #moviegeek #movies #movie

Next up........I don’t think I’ve watched this one since the theater. Don’t remember much of it, good or bad, so I’m going in with a blank slate. Let’s get it! 🚀🌏
The Rise, Stumble & Stumbling Rise of M. Night Shyamalan - #5 Signs (2002) - Taking influence from one of his childhood heroes in Steven Spielberg, and sprinkling it with Stephen King's rich characterizations and Hitchcock's technical prowess, 'Signs'  is a masterclass in suspense that sees M. Night Shyamalan at the height of his directing powers. We meet widower and former preacher Graham Hess, whose days are spent tending to a large farm with his brother, Merrill, and his two children. But their lives are flipped upside down when strange crop circles show up in their field. At first, Graham is convinced it's a prank, but when they begin appearing around the world, alien life - perhaps even an invasion - looks like a frightening possibility. Despite dealing with a global scale invasion, Shyamalan focuses on the impact it has on this one family in this remote corner of Philadelphia. We see everything unfold through their eyes, giving the film an intimacy most invasion movies don't bother with. A lot of the time we're only given glimpses of what’s going on out in the world via radio and television coverage, or when the family dog starts barking relentlessly from the backyard. There's a masterfully-orchestrated video recording of one of the aliens at a Brazilian birthday party, which is just pure nightmare fuel. Along with a handful of other terrifying sequences, including the pantry scene and Graham walking through his field at night, 'Signs' is perhaps the best-directed movie of Shayamalan's filmography. As an impressive craftsman, the director knows how to get the most out of space, sound, and his actors. He lingers on certain shots just long enough and actually holds back on fully showing the aliens for a good amount of the runtime, thus building suspense and forcing us to create the horror in our minds. It's this intimacy that makes 'Signs' such a tough film to look away from. The aliens here weren’t seen as much as they were heard; the use of suspicious camera angles, foreboding music composed uncompromisingly by James Newton Howard, and eerie whispers of the extraterrestrial beings all created an invasive sense of terror that doesn't die out. 🔽🔽🔽
1/10. This was the film that made me want to be a director/writer. For 10 days I’ll be posting a still from a film that has inspired or shaped me. This was a very hard list to make (as it would really be more like a top 25 or so). I nominate @mrandrefelix #10daymoviechallenge #thesixthsense
