Day 5 of the Everglades... #latergram
We drove 9 hours to and from📍Key West, for a day trip. We will say that it probably would have been more fun to stay longer with some friends. However, we did enjoy a PERFECT day of sunshine and sightseeing. It ended up being a rare 70 degree day — not a cloud in the sky (that part’s not so rare).
Here we are at the Southernmost Point of the United States.
If you’ve ever been there before, you might remember the line of people. Or how the person behind you takes your photo.
Idk if you’re like me, but I kind of take my pictures seriously. So, when I learned that a total stranger would be taking our photo, I began judging everyone. I was searching for someone that looked like they meant business.
We ended up in front of someone I didn’t think was up for the task. I mean, I didn’t want to make Brad wait in the line again for a retake. So, I tried to inconspicuously get out of line and get behind them. My hope was someone more serious would come along. (Yes! I’m terrible!!! How was I to know if the gentleman could take a good photo or not? I completely judged a book by its cover.)
Long story short, the man that we were in front of... then got behind... had 2 boys. One started talking camera settings and lighting.💡 I had to interrupt and ask the boy to take our photo. He agreed and this was the result! I just did a little cropping.
Thanks, kid! Wherever you are. You’re the real MVP! And for the record, his dad ended up saying that his son would do a much better job than he ever could... because he has no idea what he’s doing with his phone.
