Welcome to my @ipsy
bag for the month of #April
! I must say this bag was a bit boring 😴 which is a bit disappointing, but here is what I received:
Luminous Collagen Eye Cream
the BalmJour Creamy Lip Stain in Salut!
Moods Eyeshadow in Martini Olive Green
Double Duty Base Tape Hydrating Primer
And now we review 🎉: 1) Everyone is OBSESSED with K-beauty at the moment and it was neat to receive this #answerfrom #collagen
eye cream, but I have so many eye creams as is. It is very hydrating and makes putting on concealer much smoother. A decent product to have 👍
2) I typically like #thebalm
products, but this #lipstain
just didn't do it for me. The colour (nude/beige) was ok and it started off hydrating, but quickly dried out my lips a little while later.
3) Brushes. BRUSHES! You will never see me disappointed with receiving brushes. Means I don't have to clean them as often lol. This #billiondollarbrushes
fan brush was super soft and distributed my #highlight
evenly. I don't typically use fan brushes for highlight, but I think I need to make it a more common ritual.
4) This #laurasanchezmakeup
eyeshadow came in such neat packaging but unfortunately, olive green is not my colour. I didn't #swatch
it because I will be adding it to the #giveaway
that will be coming up shortly.
5) I love #tartecosmetics
and anything I receive from them is usually pretty decent. This #primer
was no different. Very hydrating and my foundation did go on more smooth. UNFORTUNATELY, though, it did make me break out just a little bit because my skin is so dang sensitive and I'm assuming it was either the jojoba or grapeseed extract that did so. Still a good product!! This month's #ipsy
bag was... Meh. I'm hoping for my cosmetics next month and hopefully in colours that are more to my liking. Thanks for reading!!
