📝This week has been so surreal yet inexplicably amazing. It was my first official @sxsw
and my first time to cover something of this magnitude as press for @the_austinot.
✨ I am physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted, but in the best possible way— if that even makes sense. I got to meet so many cool celebs like , Akili McDowell, Brooklyn Decker, and Jackson Rathbone who all surprised me with their kindness and authenticity. ———
👭I also met some really badass women who attended #sxsw
solo and didn’t let it stop them from having a great time. ——-
🎥 I got to see some beautifully shot and directed films like @theriverandthewall @booksmart @danielisntrealfilm
that emotionally punched me in the stomach, elicited many tears and laughs.
🛴I’ve felt like a complete nomad hopping on and off the bus whenever and wherever I wanted (shoutout Cap Metro, the real MVP), riding @bird
scooters home at all hours of the day and night and walking the city (my city) from corner to corner each day.
💯 It’s been the most liberating and intellectually stimulating experience. One I’m so greatful for. HOWEVER, I’m definitely ready to go back to office life and a normal routine for a while. 👋🏼 Until next year, #sxbyebye
