On tour ... Today I went to Oxford St, Bondi Junction and Bondi Beach. Being a tourist in my own country is interesting. It reminds me to look at the world as if I’m seeing it for the first time.
The last time I was at Bondi Beach I was 15 years old (17 years ago)... my don’t things look a lot smaller when your a big adult hahaha.

I was in Paris. It was cloudy and a little chilli, let’s be honest it was freezing.
Before leaving Australia I had booked myself into several tours for Paris, as I had never been there before.
On this tour I visited; The Notre Dame, The Eiffel Tower and lastly The Moulin Rouge for dinner and a show.
Long story short, after the show, the masses were leaving...
An American man started chatting to me... he offered to walk me to the tour van. Then just as we crossed the road there was someone selling roses on the street. He stopped and bought me a rose. He knew me for like 5 min 10 max as we walked and talked outside the Moulin Rouge ... yet he still bought me a rose. As he handed me the rose he said ‘It was lovely to meet you, you’re truly beautiful, enjoy Paris.’
The tour guide (who happened to be a lady) remarked as I stepped into the van, ‘I am not surprised a man gave you a 🌹 , you are very elegant.’ I was shocked, first an American man bought me a rose for 5 mins of my time and then a French lady remarked on my elegance.
Why am I sharing this? Well because sometimes it takes strangers on the other side of the world, to see us for who we really are and to remind us to be kind and loving to ourselves.
Take the time to spread love to the world and to yourself!

Day 18 - best live album. I am eternally grateful for my friend @_danbarnett
for many things, but one of them is introducing me to The Jam. When I first started seriously collecting records, I would scour the city/internet for anything from this band. It wasn’t easy and rarely did anything turn up. Then I found this one record shop tucked away in a run down flea market. The owner and I struck up a quick friendship and he would tuck things away for me if he thought I’d be interested... every couple of months, he’d pull a lawyers box from behind the “register” and say, “I’ve got a few things you might like.... (whispering) there’s a few Jam records in there.” He saw me coming and I surely paid for it, but I’ve got a LOT of cool finds in my collection; this being one of them. #comedyvinylchallenge #thejam #digthenewbreed #thatsentertainment
