Watercolor tattoos have become a staple for me.
My grandma Briggs was the only other person in my family to pursue art on the same level as me.
She is a master of watercolor painting and has created many flowers similar to this on canvas. I only met her a few times in my life but once she gave me 3 of her paintings that i still have to this day and i always had them hanging in every place i have lived, I found inpiration in this style and always wondered if it could be transfered over into a tattoo.. Fast forward a decade and a half... Here i am putting these ideas on skin on a regular basis.
When i see what people are doing with this style it inspires me it makes me dream and it makes me want to push myself to grow beyond my limitations.
I also think of my grandma and how maybe she passed this art gene down to me somehow and im grateful for that.
Lately ive been denying more tattoos than im accepting. I decided im no longer going to book tattoos that arent my beloved specialty styles. I really want to love every design I do from beginning to end. Its a matter of integrity, i know what im best at and i want to give you ONLY the best.
Im looking for clients that have interesting ideas for subject matter or for the meaning of the tattoo.
I want to help people cover up their worst tattoo regrets and i want to create art that tells the story of the person wearing it.
Whether it be a memorial, something that represents your character, your past, your dreams, your fears, your beliefs, I want to put art on you that tells your unique story in a special way only we can do together.
I'm especially looking for coverups, watercolor/abstract, black and gray realistic animals, portraits, landscapes, and flowers.. Or if you have a cool request like that i would love to hear you out!
