The “Ballad of Pemi Tshewang Tashi” - a ‘Wind-borne Feather’ is a time machine which takes us back to a time when many Feudal Lords ruled over valleys and when their 'Words were the Law'. The Ballad provides not only an insight into the ‘Authoritarian Rule’ prevalent during those times but also provides a ‘Panoramic View’ of a country in conflict within those hierarchical systems of obedience.
In this heroic tale (a married man with two children, caught in dilemma to choose between his overwhelming sense of duty and servitude towards his master and love for his family and his own life), he sets off with a premonition of disaster but puts loyalty to his Lord above personal presentiment. The Ballad reminds the Viewers of the romance and hardship of travel in the past and also of the nature of virtues such as 'Courage and Obedience’. #LEGEND #Pemi #Tshewang #Tashi
is a living embodiment of ‘Respect, Loyalty, and Trust. His courage to face impending death in the name of loyalty and obedience is awe-inspiring.
The MOVIE now: The Team genuinely deserves an 'APPLAUD'. Irrefutably, it leaves a ‘Strange Aftertaste’. The Film's ‘Artistic aspects’ is carefully designed, ‘Technically’ stunning, and the ‘Dramatic visualization’ is met. The Film is worth ‘All the Praises’. NB: Her Majesty The Royal Queen Mother, Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck graces the Film's Premiere.
