Saniara’s current fascination - Scream when she needs attention or is fussy
And Mama’s - saying no sanaira 10000000000000 times 😅
At 10 months I hope it’s just a phase otherwise people will think her name is No Sanaira
We had another visit to Christopher's Cake Shop today. We skipped Book Babies this morning because Magi's been a bit under the weather this weekend, but he seemed much better today and Mama wanted to get out of the house. So we headed out for an afternoon treat. Gareth and I had the custard bougatsa (highly recommended 👍👍), Magi had mama's milk 😁

“My husband bought me a Toucan bag for Christmas. OMG the whole family loves it! Having just spent 2 weeks away in the caravan it was great to pack everything we needed for a day trip to the beach for a family of 4. So roomy to fit everything including snorkels. Love all the pockets and the waterproof bag it comes with saves everything else getting wet! Thanks Mr Poppins+Co!” If you’d like to share your pics or reviews of how Mr Poppins+Co fits into your life we’d love to hear from you. From the day that Caitlin was born she came out with GUSTO!
A 45 minute labour and 4th degree tears I should’ve recognised back then.
If the beginning of her life was an animated cartoon she would’ve jumped up from the weigh table, turned on the disco music, flicked on the disco lights and busted out some moves!
I will admit I was not ready for this kid, however the universe had different plans for me and it was time to go next level as a parent.
Being able to recognise her determination and independence has been a major breakthrough.
Changing my language has been my biggest aha moment.
The biggest lesson that Caitlin has taught me is to be accountable in life.
Accountable for showing up, for my daily routine, for what I eat and drink, my work ethic, my team and the friendships that I keep.
My Darling Caitlin, I thank you for challenging me and pushing me to be the best mum that I can be for you.
We got this!
I thought this Irish Proverb was very appropriate given it was St Patrick’s Day yesterday and World Sleep Day last Friday.
Last week and the weekend was filled to the brim with the kids various sports and extra-curricular activities. Some of it was fun and other parts not so fun. Being an Uber Mum driving my kids here, there and everywhere and having very early mornings with the kids swimming and rowing. The rush of adrenalin build up as they’re competing. I’m feeling a little bit weary today! Even as the kids get older sleep is so very important and a top priority in our house. Having time to wind down after a full on day of school, sport and homework is really important, not unlike with a little one.
We always eat dinner as a family and this has been a tradition since the kids were very young. Both my kids find baths very calming and at least once a week they will have a bath with Epsom Salts and a couple of drops of Lavender.
I find that if my kids don’t wind down before bed then they’re less likely to initiate sleep and if they take over an hour to get to sleep and need to be up at 5am then they’re building up a big sleep debt. Sometimes Jacob will need to listen to a bedtime meditation and this usually does the trick! When he was younger his Joey Swag baby sleeping bag was his sleep cue and he’d be off to sleep.
What is your little one’s sleep cue?

Is this a stunner of a gift set or what 😍
Maxi attended his very first wedding last week! We only took him to the ceremony though, not the reception, because we are slaves to routine and would not dare to mess with bedtime. He was surprisingly well behaved, we expected him to start sooking during the vows or some other important moment, haha.

워워 동생사랑이 넘쳐나는건 알겠지만.. Calm down please.....
Today Magi is sick so we're having a sit at home in our PJs kind of day. But yesterday we went to the Australian Museum!
I was worried it might all be a bit over Magi's head, but there was actually lots to interest him! There are lots of colourful things for him to look at, many of the displays are easily visible for a baby in a pram, and there are lots of bits and pieces hanging from the ceiling as well. He really enjoyed himself, and we'll definitely go back again soon!

At Bubbaroo we're all about sleep - it's the whole reason we exist. Sleep promotes good health and well-being.
As Mums I don't think we prioritise our own sleep. I have suffered many years of ill health after not prioritising sleep. You simply cannot pour from an empty cup! I honestly believe a healthy happy mums equals healthy happy children!
I have written a blog called "Your Health is Your Wealth - Prioritsing Sleep". I really wanted to share sleep tips with you as there are many pro-active steps you can take to prioritise sleep even if you have little ones! You can read the blog www.bubbaroo.com.au/blog/new-year-new-goals-your-health-is-your-wealth .
One of my tips is to make your bedroom your sanctuary. Your bedroom should only be for 2 “S” words SLEEP & SEX. I’m especially loving the simplicity of this white and grey bedroom with pot plants and white tulips. I feel I could slip right in the bed and drift off to sleep 😴 .
At Bubbaroo, luxurious organic cotton or wool padded sleepwear is what we recommend for a little one's sleep. Sleeping in beautiful and clean bed linen will make your bed a sanctuary that you will look forward to hopping into – just like for your little one! .
With the change of season you may need to update your little one’s sleepwear, shop the link in our bio. 🌏Shipping and FREE shipping within Australia for orders over $100.
