Mein Ziel war es mein Training zu unterstützen, Körperfett zu verlieren und meine Leistung zu steigern. Doch alles hatte nicht die gewünschte Wirkung. Sie haben meinem Körper eher geschadet und diese Auswirkungen merke ich heute noch. Ausgewogenheit ist in meinen Augen das Schlüsselwort was eine gesunde aber auch glücklich machende Ernährung ausmacht.

🔽May be you are ruin your weekly calorie goals.
🔽 May be you are taking way more calories on Saturday and Sunday.
🔽Our body doesn't know it's Sunday.
🔽It is okey to have high calorie cheat meal sometimes; but it should fit in your calories and macros.
🔽As a reward or as a change of taste, take only 1 cheat meal. Don't take a cheat day.
🔽Cheat meal best works on workout days.
🔽Fat loss/weight loss only happens when you maintain your deficit till the end of the week.

Can’t wait to spend the weekend with my favourite two
30 min of a full body HIIT workout followed by an easy pace 3 miles to close out the night. Wanted to see if my body could handle the switch and it held up beautifully. On my run I reflected not just on my new age but on the way I’ve treated my body and the demands I’ve made of it over these last 32 years:
To be strong.
To be soft.
To be curvy.
To be skinny.
To have bigger breasts.
To have a rounder butt.
To be faster.
To be flexible.
To be sexy.
To be presentable.
To be turned on.
To be desired.
To be ALL OF THE ABOVE, ALL THE TIME, without fault or failure.
With each step I took tonight I realize there’s only one thing I will ask of my body going forward:
To be HEALTHY.
The rest, can go F*CKing hang. I’m not perfect and never will be. But I am learning to be kind to MYSELF. To love & accept my body in every stage. Because if it doesn’t start with me, than I’ll never be able to believe or accept it from anyone else. But even more important, to abuse it with negative thought & talk & unrealistic expectations, would be an insult to its creator.
Be kind to your body my friends. It’s the only one you get. 🏃🏽♀️✌🏽💕

Committing every day to practicing cleans, snatches, and/or pull ups (or accessory movements to improve those three). Every day. Even the days I get home from work and plan to eat a frozen Trader Joe’s dinner and go to bed early, but not before I whip out a round of cleans, front squats and pull ups. Cheers to being a girl, and lifting like one too 💕✌🏼 *(full disgrace on stories 😂)
I’ve been thinking A LOT lately about how I consume... I didn’t grow up in an environmentally conscious home and am not the best at recycling so it’s been a lifestyle I’ve had to explore myself. (Also recycling is less convenient in AK which impacts whether the masses participate.) Lately- I’ve taken my consumer conscious mind from my kitchen to my life. (Thank you @theminimalists
for inspiring me to consume less and live more.) So, I’ve been making small changes like bringing my own reusable grocery bags/opting for paper when I forget 🙄; using paper/reusable straws, bringing my own cup to cafes, and buying used/repurposed clothing.

which is aiming to make a BIG impact on the way in which we buy outdoor clothing.

Sanding the inside of our studio benches is definitely NOT the weirdest thing I have done in helping get this studio OPEN! If you haven’t heard… Free To Be Old Metairie is officially opening on Saturday!! FREE classes at 8am and 930am on Saturday! Can you believe it? Yay!
