We keep walking, keep moving, and we rise. We hike at our own pace, our speeds and levels each unique. Long legs. Short legs. Self conscious of our legs, yet self aware. Tuned in to our bodies, our gifts, and willing to push past the limit that is the ache, the tiredness, the vertigo, the fear of slipping. We are adventurous. We are cautious. We are high energy and we tire. We are courage, and we are afraid. We are survivors.

Sound on ✨ Hearts open ❤️ Snowshoeing up at Mount Baker was the best way to end 2018. We even stumbled on a bit of mountaintop magic. It was the sweetest, most excellent surprise and there has never been a more perfect New Year’s Eve.
Sugarloaf Mountain in front of a long ridge that extends out from Plateau Mountain. The ridge tops out at Olderbark Mountain, which is 60 feet shy of the 3,500-foot threshold for Catskill high peaks.
2017 I quit drinking for the whole year👏🏻 2018 I competed in a bikini competition💪🏻 2019

2018 has been the year, that I have gotten to travel and see more of what Kenya has to offer. There's so much to see out there but we are at a risk of loosing all this due to deforestation, pollution, global warming etc.
If this doesn't change , our generations to come have nothing to find rather than just tales and pictures of the wild animals, the lakes and the waterfalls that were in existence.
One way both you and I can help to preserve all this is by planting of tress and to stop littering.
Set goals and targets of how many you can plant with a certain period of time and we can all take part in conserving of our environment. One tree at a time.
This is something I got to learn from @summitseekerskenya
and so far am proud to have gotten the chance to participate and help in achieving their goal to plant one million trees 🌲🌲🌲.

The Burroughs Range is named after naturalist John Burroughs (1837-1921). Closest to the viewer, Wittenberg Mountain is a distinctly triangular peak. Cornell Mountain follows immediately behind. The range's tallest peak, Slide Mountain, towers over both mountains. It has a plaque commemorating Mr. Burroughs near its peak.
Indian Head Mountain, Overlook Mountain, and a peek at the Hudson Valley.
An unnamed peak sets the view off towards the southern Catskills. Yanketown Pond appears from behind this peak. Beyond, Mount Tobias is the king of its small range, and the range just behind is best represented by Ticetonyk Mountain. Ashokan Reservoir separates those ranges from the massif that includes many of the Catskills' most famous peaks, like Peekamoose, Balsam Cap, Friday, Cornell, Wittenberg, and Slide.
