Soon after we moved into our house, we started the long project of clearing the weeds of their chokehold over the yard. We (Jordan) removed the overgrowth from one corner, and to our surprise, a patch of succulents sat, impervious to any human activity and machinations over their state. They survive throughout all kinds of weather. They're a little prickly and not the most showy of the yard inhabitants, but persistent. Who knows if it's arrogant anthropomorphism, aspirational, or just because succulents are beautiful, but I've made a tradition of getting the things from our yard inked onto my arms. Next will be the dirt pile full of broken glass and bottle caps because METAPHORS.
Thank you so much for being sweet and easy to talk to as well as crazy talented, @twin.suns.
I've snapped a not small number of arm selfies but nothing beats your good lighting and the butt wall.
