On the Road again ....
Wieder mal im Auto stricke ich weiter am #blaithincardigan
. Die Taschen sind soweit gestrickt und es geht jetzt hoch bis zu den Armen.
Well the pattern testers have been selected & my first ever KNIT pattern is now out in the big wide world (...well...with 5 people, but it's a start!) Looking forward to this month of working with these ladies on getting this pattern perfect for the rest of you! I just LOVE being part of such a beautiful & supportive maker community. Thanks to ALL of you for making this such a lovely, safe place! .
& If you're looking forward to the #bebravebabyblanket
release, we are shooting for September 1st! Stay tuned! Now it's time to work on my next crochet pattern release- a fall shawl, anyone??
We love the little v-shapes from single stockinette stripes. ✌🏼$3 pattern download available on our website and Ravelry. Lykke Hat. ✨
Finished the Easy Does It Monthly KAL in the #ravelry
Beginner’s Knit Along Group and gave it to my sister as a bday gift 🤗 Yarn is Into the Whirled in the Wanderlust colorway.
TESTER CALL for my first ever KNIT design- the Be Brave Baby Blanket- going out tomorrow night!!!
I will be looking for 3-5 knitters of various levels (the pattern is definitely beginner friendly but I also need some advanced eyes to make sure I actually know what I'm talking about!) Keep on the lookout in my feed & stories for the application link TOMORROW evening! 🌸
Here, straight to the holidays! 🏝 👠 👠 💦 Order now 11 balls of snow white Kashmir Small and get ready to realize this refined sweater (composite stitch, double ribs, stockinette stitch, trimming stitch and tubular knitting).
In the final stages of finishing up what I think I may call the "Be Brave Blanket" . First time KNITTING a blanket, but I so loved the process of designing it for my daughter who is arriving in November (I'm secretly hoping this sweet little thing will be her "blankey") Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with how it came out!
Hoping to write up a simple pattern this week- keep an eye out for a tester call, while it's a beginner pattern, I need some Knitters who know their stuff to make sure I actually know mine!
I am so in love with how this blanket is working up, you guys!
Even though I am only an amatuer knitter myself, I'm curious, would anybody even be interested in a simple knit blanket pattern written by a crochet designer? Cause I feel like this is working up to be a good one & I'd love to share it with y'all? Thoughts?
I can’t decide which side I like best 😌😌
If you are a knitter, what is your go-to, or favorite item to knit?
She's got a few wonky bits, but so far I love her! 1 1/2 stripes to go on my knit baby blanket 💜💗💛
I know a lot of people can't tell the difference between knit & crochet ( & the majority of people think I knit everything anyway) but I do love the differences between these two crafts! I could crochet absolutely anything all day every day but there is something so relaxing about just going back & forth with simple knitting, especially on a flat object.
I'm generally very good at having all the anxiety in the world, especially regarding pregnancy & babies. I'm trying to cultivate peace for not only the sake of myself & this child, but my poor husband who has to talk me down from all my panics.
This knitting project (paired with a good Spotify Worship playlist) is really helping me slow down & remind myself every little thing is gonna be alright.
I decided to try some knitting for the first time in quite a while. Also first time knitting with circular needles, and I’m loving it ❤️
Do you prefer crochet or knitting more? I looove the way knit stitches look, but always found crochet to be easier to create different shapes.
