set clapit will assist with their expenditure in accordance with Section 10 of the Official Rules. All people ages 13+ who are legal residents of the USA are eligible to enter. No prior acting experience is required. Actors must be non-union.. There is no charge to download clapit or enter the contest. IMPORTANT: Clapit reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant in breach of Section 6 of the Official Rules.
For your 20-second audition video, improvise one of the following options:
Female Role: Nurse Anderson
This is the opening scene of “The Fifth Borough” Steve Stanulis’ character and Tara Reid’s character are husband and wife and you are nurse Anderson that delivers bad news to them. Their daughter has terminal cancer and as Nurse Anderson you are told to tell them the bad news. Improvise this scene.
Male Role: Alexi
Alexi is part of the Russian mafia. The Russian mafia’s biggest enemy is the Italian mafia. The anger between the Russian mafia and the Italian mafia is palpable. Out one night Alexi bumps into a guy he recognises as part of the Italian mafia and decides to confront him. They get into an argument which results in Alexi beating him up and Alexi also sustains injuries because of the fight. Improvise this scene.
