Why do you take photos, and choose to share some of them online? To spread your art and hope to inspire? Or to maybe impress others with your skill, your life, the food you bake, the parties you go to, how fit you are, the amount of work you have, all the countries you get to see? To influence people into buying your brand? Or is there something else to it? I think it is so interesting to contemplate the relationship we are having with our social media accounts. And to find my own reason why I am sharing my photography. On here, it’s mostly the little moments that caught my eye, a beautiful view, a touch, nice light, a reflection or feeling that I wanted to capture. Some days it’s merely a good hair day, or a picture I took for clients that I feel really hits home with me. But for whatever reason I took the photo, every square tells something about me and the way I see my surroundings. I guess in some way, sharing them makes me feel like I am leaving a small part of who I am, and what my life is, out floating in the world. Like a sort of proof that I was here. Do you ever think about this?
