TRANSFORMATION: •Left picture: May 2016. Doing ONLY cardio, not lifting any weights, looking and feeling awkward at the gym. Eating straight trash, not really caring about what I put in my body, but thinking I was eating somewhat clean. Little muscle & not toned at all, more body fat. •Right picture: June 2018. Doing cardio 2-3 times a week (HIIT, Stair master, running) and heavy lifting 5-6 times a week, feeling more confident when I go to the gym. Eating in moderation & being more mindful of what I put in my body! More muscle & toned, less fat.
The last two years have seriously opened my eyes in terms of what lifting can do for your body. It’s amazing to see progress after feeling so hopeless about the way I looked. I’m still not 100% confident with myself, but boy has my confidence level changed since 2016.
