The young, passionate team of BU students that won the @hultprizebu
competition last night and will be moving on to the @hult_prize
regionals in Boston. Madrasatech is a non conformal education platform that uses a raspberry pi to bring education to young Syrian refugees in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon. The team met during
a 3-week interdisciplinary humanitarian engineering course in Lebanon over the summer of 2018. Since then, they have been working hard at taking forth Madrasatech. Education, the team believes, is essential to future employment. And, they want to address this for children in refugee settlements who are in the danger of soon becoming a lost generation.
An evening that was all that and more! Super thankful to the teams, everyone person who pitched in and my rockstar mentor.
