Hiked up to the most photographed spot of the Appalachian Trail with @kathryn__alexandra to watch the sunrise. We slept for about four hours, dealt with extremely strong winds that made us freeze and I couldn’t feel my hands after a couple of minutes. Really didn’t care though because there’s nothing more beautiful than seeing these colors on top of a mountain!

Your body was designed to contain a cosmic storm.
It is no wonder that sometimes your head and heart
hurt so much that you may just explode.
It takes a nebula,
a cosmic storm of epic proportions falling apart to create a star.
So be easy on yourself.
You are a storm in transition,
even as these words are being written.
It’s a sunrise not a sunset, but this one seems a good note on which to end the Morocco series. Big shout out to our guide and travel companion and consummate host, Mohamed, from @coloursofmorocco Next stop Queenstown, New Zealand.

Here the goats grow on trees. Argan trees that is. Over the Atlas Mountains and heading for the coast at Eassaouira.
