#transformationtuesday#latepost#legday Its been a hectic day, spent almost 3 hours at the Social Security Office w @janet_elizabeth11 but it needed to be done 😤😤😤😤 That didnt leave me a ton of time for my workout today guys but I knew I had to make it count. I didnt want to Squat right away so I decided to start with DB Lunges that I superset with Leg Presses and the Jump Rope. Video 1 displays the 1st two variations out of the 6 I did today 😫😖😫😖 Feet wide and then feet close. Not locking the knees and no rest so I could keep the pump going 💣💥💣💥 Pics 1-6 display the different feet position I used today, each targeting a different part of the Quads in just a slightly different way. In this order standard feet wide and then feet close (1 & 2). Then feet wide toes in and toes out (3 & 4). Last two are feet close toes in and toes out (5 & 6). 💯✔💯✔ "Set" 1 was 10 reps of each (60 total) starting with 270 lbs. Then I did 100 jump ropes and 20 DB Lunges on each leg starting with 50lbs in each hand. Each set I went down two reps each again for the 6 different variations (set 2 was 48 reps) but adding a 45lb plate on each side (set 2 was 360lbs). Then adding 25 jump ropes and going up to 60lb DBs in each hand for the Lunges. I did a total of 4 rounds like that 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 is all I can say. I finished super setting BB Front Squats with Leg Extensions (which I also did 6 variations). I did 4 rounds of these starting with 95 lbs on the Squats and ending with 155 lbs (video 2 at end). Leg Extensions starting with 100 lbs and ending with 190 lbs. Today was a volume day guys and my Quads are screaming at me 🤬😡🤬😡 If you all ever have any questions about programming please let me know, I dont know it all but I have a pretty good idea. I first stumbled upon @trainlikejblo back in my 2018 bday workout, where she was also my teammate and we won... despite the only thing she can do back then was a female bucket carry 😝 Now, everyone in Philippine OCR knows her as "The Influencer" aptly named coz she influenced me in racing HK Super, Malaysia Sprint (after Ultra), and the recent Philippine Open. She continuosly surprises me with the level of improvement she is showing one race after another.
Running beside her in Malaysia was lifechanging for me, I realized more than a friend, a teammate, a co-taurus, and co-Thomasian.. Day 2 of #sharethebattleropelove rainbows! This is a new one that I've only tried once before, so I thought I would share it with the battle ropes world, create as much tension as possible in the rope that is static and with the other arm you are doing mini rainbows down the rope that is static, trying to not touch the rope. It is very challenging, especially on your non-dominant side lol as you can tell!
I... Am... CERTIFIED!!!! Just received my certificate yesterday. This certification truly means the world to me. I cannot even begin to tell you how hard I worked and studied. Literally passed my final on the final day and at the final hour. I loved what I learned about myself during the process. I really loved learning about and practicing #TheSpartanWay .
