It was great to catch up with the brothers of SA Gin Jon and Con today at Sefton Plaza BWS! The family owned small batch craft distillery @36shortspirits
is a tribute to Jon and Con’s Macedonian born father, Pando. Pando amongst many things was a passionate distiller passing on secret family recipes from father to son over three generations.
So when Jon & Con launched their family distillery they settled on the name 36 Short as this was Pando’s suit size. They initially started off making rakia, in fact Australia’s first rakia and have how now beached off to crafting gin as well.
The Lioulios family are known for growing some of South Australia’s best produces that can be found in supermarkets and fruit & veg store throughout the country. But now they have bought this passion of quality produce and botanicals to every bottle!
36 Short Blood Orange Gin, I simply can’t get enough of the this one of a kind regional gin. Made for great times enjoying all the summer moments. Handcrafted using local botanical crafts a sweet herbaciousness and aromatic gin, a spicy citrus yet fresh and crisp playing tribute to the quality of the fruit that brings this gin to life.
Enjoy over ice with with @fevertreeaustralia
