I always try to keep the amount of sugar to a minimum for my kids and I find the supermarket ones just make my kids #hyper
! 3 years. I’ve been trying for 3 years to make a nice thick and creamy yoghurt and F I N A L L Y I’ve Done it! .
Yes I’m bragging but it’s taken me what feels like FOREVER! Since the kids have gone back to school I set myself the challenge and I’ve made at least 2 batches per week and last nights batch is #perfect
. So creamy, thick and tasty. .
So my tips! I know everyone’s going to ask me but here they;
1. 1L of @koitafoods
lactose free milk, room temperature
2. 200g of milk powder
3. 200g of starter yoghurt
4. 50g sugar (only so my daughter will eat it. I plan to slowly reduce the amount over time)
5. 1 tsp vanilla essence
6. 100g @koitafoods
I use the automated setting on my @thermomixmiddleeast
BUT I add the milk, milk powder and sugar to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 seconds, speed 3. This ensures a consistent thickness to the yoghurt. .
I then go into the #automated
recipe and add all the other ingredients to the bowl and let the machine do its thing overnight. In the morning I pop it into a container and put it into the fridge for a few hours and this is the result! #sohappy
