Today, I offer you my thoughts and experiences with starting your own #business

; doesn't matter if you are #unemployed
and struggling or just interested in something new, this is likely to be of interest. Starting on your own is often what we do in fickle economy, but it's tricky, especially psychologically. #anthropology #socialbehaviour #socialanthropology #behaviour

Of mud, courage and entrepreneurship - or a few thoughts on starting your own business
It is becoming increasingly difficult to spot the difference between the real and fake images as #technology
develops, but even without that, the spread of #falsifiedinformation
(generally called #fakenews
) or dubbing #information
that is unacceptable for someone fake is on the rise. As said before in the posts, this is not a new phenomenon, and before #socialmedia
, other means were used for the same purpose. The thing we need to focus on, possibly more than on the pieces themselves, is on #socialbehaviour
. Why do we believe something is true or false? What makes us take a step in that direction, or persist even if we know that we are likely dealing with a fake? This behaviour is what is important, and changing it is likely to bring better results than losing perspective and simply blaming the #tech

Salty Air, Sun Kissed Hair ⛱🌊 Life is good at the beach .
Boo's social and emotional behaviour at 18 months is great, Boo has always been very social. However , that doesn't mean that she would meet a strange and instantly hit if off , she takes time but at the same time is very comfortable with having people around. 👇What I have learnt and try to implement with my girl so far 👪 💕Sharing is not caring : Caring is sharing and not the other way around, people who share not necessarily care. It may sound complex but I do not tell Boo to share her toys, we teach her to co-exist with people and how to be accepting of everyone, but what she shares and how much she wants to share is entirely her decision. 🚫Consent: We have been talking to Boo from the start about the importance of consent, we need to ask people for their consent before taking their toys or touching them and same goes with our toys and personal space as well. No means No , it doesnt mean if or maybe. 🚮Follow the rules: Children follow and mimic what they see around, so we try and follow the rules of the place where we are at. For eg: If we see any children destroying or abusing the surroundings, we dont ignore and walk away. We speak to the child and try to make them understand and that way Boo sees us and understands that she needs to respect public property and her surrounding and stand up for the right when it's time. ✅ Positive Affirmation : We try to be as positive as we can, positive affirmation lifts up the childs confidence. It goes a long way and teaches the child to be body positive and inclusion, which is a big deal in today's world. 🗣Conversation : And most importantly, we have proper conversations with Boo, we don't kuchichoo and alllealle Boo. We speak to her as if we are speaking to an adult while still being considerate about her level of understanding, this has helped us quiet a lot as Boo at this age tries to hold meaningful conversations (in her baby language, of course ☺) PS: If your child has stranger anxiety, then there no need to worry or stress about it. My nephew had severe strange anxiety till he was a bit older and grew out of it on his own.
There’s this stereotype in the western world that if you dress up a bit girly or even elegant with 👠 and a posh bag, you definitely cannot be a software engineer.🤨 But some kind of PR girl😂
Well damn, it’s time to speak out now! I tell you I know C++, Java, Python, Bash, all the crazy stuff about design patterns, Continous Integration, Linux, system design and version controls like SVN and GiT and many others.
In the world there are 7:1 👩🏼:👨🏻women to men ratio and yet still underrepresented in IT in the western 🗺. Men think the way women let them to think! 👩🏫It’s time to change this mindset and remind the world women can make babies and code at the same time🙂. Men cannot!

Fascinating visit to the largest collection of ants in the world, by multi-disciplinary Swiss scientist Auguste Forel, one of the grand men of science. For the first time on view at the Natural History Museum in Geneva @museum.geneve
, which acquired this collection in 1922. He studied ants and their social behavior - how they relate to each other and ecosystems they inhabit together with us. Forel identified almost half of the 14.000 species of ants known today, and named many by the names of his collaborators, family and friends. His book “The Social World of the Ants Compared with That of Man” was published in 1928.
Forel was a myrmecologist, neuroanatomist, psychiatrist and eugenicist, notable for his investigations into the structure of the human brain and that of ants. A welcome reminder, in the epoch of specialisation, that a man can excel in several branches of learning and multi-disciplinarity allows for new knowledge to emerge.

are often perceived (and have been in the past) as something mysterious, powerful, outside of our control and in the hands of mystic beings - gods, demigods, demons...
So control is attempted by #superstitions
, extreme societal control and a very real and dangerous blame game, which can and does cost lives. That said, the blame game we modernly play in the West isn't much different. It's not based on superstitions, perhaps, but it might as well be, as denial of impact can go that far. It's not just about the efficiency of the government in case of disaster, but a similar to #superstition #behaviour
that denies all it doesn't agree with, regardless of proof and consequences for those most vulnerable. #humanrights #socialbehaviour #socialanthropology #culturecontact #culturalanthropology #anthropologyiseverywhere #disasterrelief #fakenewsphenomenon #anthropology
Today I’ve had the chance 🧡to talk to one of the most interesting figures of The Netherlands, international speaker, social behavior scientist and the one who interviewed Barack Obama 🇺🇸 a week ago at the Thinking Forward Leadership event in Amsterdam.
Ben Tiggelaar. Writer of “Mooi werk” (eng. Beautiful work). The man who inspires hundreds of organizations into picking up the right change strategies. 🤓

Hive of polistes sp.
These complex of little apartments are a fantastic example of how far nature is ahead of us. these wasps are able to build architectural wonders, adaptations more or less complex and social relationships well defined that have allowed them to live in most of the terrestrial environments

shakes the #media
, we should consider it from the perspective of #anthropology
. Much of our lives #online
reflect the offline world; so how come we are convinced that someone breaking into our online account is doing worse than if they broke into our home? What about it (apart from the persistent portrayal by media and activist groups) actually makes it seem worse for hackers to expose our penchant for cat pictures or embarrassing photos we only showed our friends vs a breach into the utter intimacy of our space, physically going through our stuff and forcing us to choose different #security
arrangements? If this is our #behaviour
on its own, then we have begun to view #socialmedia
as a proper extension of ourselves. If not, then we need to step back and be objective in assessment of the situation. In either case, we are dealing with a form of break-in. #socialbehaviour #technology #society #culturalinterpretation #it #tech #onlinebehaviour #anthropology #anthropologyiseverywhere
90% of your serotonin is produced in the gut.
We all know serotonin affects sex drive, mood, sleep, appetite, social behaviour, memory, learning, stress and our overall wellbeing.
We also know that modern food lacks in complex carbs our body requires, leading us to not have a regulated level of serotonin.
That is why love my nutrition shakes for brekky along with my supps and botanicals 😍 I am definitely creating a space in my gut where serotonin can do its thing and create a happy and balanced environment.
