One of my favorite Agents or SHIELD scenes aka Why Skitz Will Be Okay
bc she had wonderful captions for the screencap on my story😂 And because she might actually read my super long caption. ——————————————
I had to start this theme with this scene. It’s just so wonderful. Though Fitz may have been scared and ran away at first, Skye is like a sister to him, and he did everything he could to help her and keep her safe. He isn’t scared of her anymore. He hugs her and comforts her embraces her change. He’s knows what it’s like to go through an unwanted change. And he’s going to Skye through hers.
Daisy was angry and scared who Fitz was becoming, but I am positive they would have worked it out. She would see that he needs help, that there are untreated medical issues, that Fitz was not in full control. And he would be scared now that everyone knows, and what if it happens again? I like to think that Daisy would remember this moment, a moment worse that having her inhibitor removed against her will. I like to think that she remembers exactly what Fitz said to her, because it isn’t something that you ever forget. I like to think that she echoes those words to Fitz, that she admits that he’s different now, he’s been different for a long time, but it’s okay. It’s going to be okay.
But she said she would never forgive him, right? We all say things that we don’t mean in the heat of the moment or in fear or in anger. Not long before the scene I edited, Fitz told Daisy that there was something wrong with her. As we see in this scene, he didn’t mean it. I don’t think Daisy truly meant a lot of the things she told Fitz before, during, and after The Devil Complex. She’s just takes a little longer than Fitz to realize and apologize and move on (which is understandable under the circumstances... not that all of her actions were, but you hopefully get the gist). But Daisy never got a chance to get to that point. She never got to forgive Fitz or become his friend again or tell him that it will be okay or help him get the help he needs. He died. And I think maybe that will be the wake-up call for her. Fitz, fundamentally, is still the
