So I was talking to my son today about my IG account and he asked why I stopped posting workouts. I told him that I had just gotten bored of it and since I honestly just post for my own motivation, I decided to stop. But then he told me that it “was cool, Mom. You should do it”. And the fact that my 15year old son noticed that his 40 year old mother stopped posting her workouts (not that i posted all of them, but I did post a good many), surprised me. So I figure I’ll start again! I figure no one cares; it’s all for me anyway! 🤣😂. So here’s from my 5k last weekend... #crazywinedashnashville #fitmom #exerciseisimportant #settingexamples
No matter how small or big your team is the principles are always the same!
The team that works together wins together🥇
Don’t just fall into the motions of life, trying something exciting can be just the spice you need.
We can create an exciting life by simply doing what excites us whenever the opportunity presents itself. Just pray about it before you do it. Make sure that it’s in God’s plan. After all, He wants us to experience happiness and excitement.
If you are somebody that tends to live practically, excitement might overwhelm you at first. To ease the anxiety that prevents you from incorporating all that you find exciting into your life, acknowledge that you are alive right now, and this time and every moment matters. When you choose to do more of what excites you, even if your choices requires you to make certain sacrifices, your life will soon be imbued with exhilaration, pleasure, and optimistic anticipation.
To understand what excites you, you may need to observe and ponder your reaction to activities, events, circumstances, people, your career, and concepts that make up your life. What makes you get out of your chair and take action? Try however to avoid getting too wrapped up in life’s details, their tedium may cause you to plod through your existence unaware of perspective excitement. Once you have created a substantial list of what excites you, find ways to integrate each item into your routine. You will soon find yourself riding a wave of excitement that lifts you up and makes life truly worth all that you have sacrificed to get to this point. ———————————————————
Always remember that comes first, God, your spouse, your children, and whatever job you have at the time. If you keep your faith, while searching for your excitement, you will not get lost in self-serving activities.
My excitement came in the form of serving people. In serving people, I eventually came upon other activities that excited me. I love to experience God‘s nature. I love to travel to see all of God’s creations. I love to put my hands in the dirt and plant and create beautiful gardens. And most of all, I love being on the water! What excites you and your life? Is it in God’s plan? Is it self serving?
My life this past eight months has changed significantly.
I lost family members, gained friends, grieved and celebrated.
I worked on self development a lot. I worked out more. I studied the Bible more.
I am filled with joy and excitement and confidence. I am ready for challenges and able to conquer. I am woman!
SO MUCH LOOOOOOOVE FOR HIM!... But zero self love!
Currently I am tapering off of my antidepressants which is exciting but yet at the same time scary. I'm so proud of how far I have come and how much resilience I really do have. My mind is finally in a really good place and my meds are locked away in the cupboard.
But here me out ladies! I am not here for sympathy or judgement, we are all fighting our own internal battles so be kind.
Men, they get it pretty darn easy in the body department and he doesn'treally understand how I am really feeling! Coming from him who has washboard abs, perfectly perky pecks, nice hair and nails and teeth....everything I lack!
As mothers we have had to give up so much for our babies. And I swear if I hear one more person say "but you carried a baby for 9 months" one more time, imma fly kick someone! My boobs are sacks of sand filled in grandma's oversized stockings (yeh let's let that image soak in), my belly is forever bloated and had so much loose saggy skin and at the end of the day I swear I look 7 months pregnant, pregnancy made my teeth move out of shape and I honestly feel like a big blob of saggy skin!
I am taking a stand! I am getting ME back! I'm bringing sexy back (ok maybe not that far)! More me time to work on my body now that my head is healed!
Does anyone else feel like that? Who wants to make a stand with me and focus on getting US back? 📸 @byebyeblackbirdphotography

The drama in some peoples lives can serve as excitement, prompting the body to manufacture adrenaline, producing a pleasurable surge of energy.
There are scores of people in the world who seem to be magnets for calamity. Their lives jump from one difficult situation to the next, surrounded by unstable individuals. Some believe themselves victims of fate. Others view their chaotic circumstances as just punishments for some failing within.
Yet, in truth, neither group has been faded or confined to suffer. They are likely unconsciously drawing drama into their lives, attracting catastrophe through their choices, attitudes, and patterns of thought. To hold this process, we must understand the root of our drama addiction, be aware of our reactions, and be willing to except a serene joyful life need not be a boring one.
Many people, so used to living in the dramatic world they create, feel uncomfortable when confronted with the prospect of a lifetime of peace and contentment. The drama in their lives serve multiple purposes. Upset because his excitement, prompting the body to manufacture adrenaline, which produces a pleasurable surge of energy. For those seeking affection in the form of sympathy, drama forms the basis of their identity as a victim. The addiction to drama is fed by the intensity of the feelings involved during bouts of conflict, periods of uncertainty, and upheaval.
Understanding where the subconscious need for drama stems from is the key to addressing it effectively. Journaling can help you transfer this need from your mind on to a benign piece of paper. After repeated writing sessions hurt feelings and confusion often associated with drama become clear. When you confront your emotional response to drama and the purpose it serves in your life, you can reject it. What is your way of dispelling drama? I would love to see your comments!

This is actually my first "gym selfie" at just before 6am this morning!
I've been back at the gym now for about 6 weeks. After the twins turned two earlier this year I vowed to get my health back on track. I started from the inside by cleaning up my eating which helped me lose most my weight and get back into most of my pre twins clothes and now I'm working out 4-6 mornings a week. I've had a few food slip ups but I'm only a human working mum with 3 children so things do get tough some days but I do try and make smarter choices. I want to set happy and healthy examples for my family and try and encourage an active lifestyle! I struggled with self esteem and weight issues most of my teens and 20's and have worked really hard to become the woman and mum I am today!!

Make no mistake: The fear of making mistakes is deeply ingrained in our psyche.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All through school, a mistake indicates the prospect of lower grades. Good students don’t make mistakes. At home, mistakes lead to admonishments. Good children follow the rules. At work, mistakes have serious repercussions. Good workers get it right the first time.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But, in those very schools and organizations where we are marked down for making mistakes, we also learn that people often stumble upon great inventions. There’s growing evidence to suggest that innovation flourishes when people are given the space to make mistakes.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Why then don’t we allow, much less encourage, making mistakes? Are these really the best measures of success? Consider an alternative. What if we were to ask employees what mistakes they committed because they did something differently? What did they learn?
Throwing it back to one the best days of my life and probably one of my biggest goals/accomplishment made this year 😁 trailering home the 10% done #allstock24v
from the paint booth. Maybe this weekend I’ll call it 15% done after a few upgraded front end parts are installed 🤫🤗 #makingmoves #bustinggoals #doingmything #settingexamples
I’m getting a lot of clarity on how this could unfold for me. If I focus on three intentions—freedom, experiences and creating inspiration for others. #mindingthegaps #midlifework

Yoga is for everyone, athletes included. Yoga works on strength, flexibility, balance, agility, endurance, core, and over all strength, among other things. Any athlete could benefit hugely by adding yoga to her or his training regimen. Here I list more details on a few of the perks: ——————————————————————-🧘♂️Strength: No amount of weight – lifting with free weights will give you the strength that consistently holding up your own body weight will.
——————————————————————-🧘♂️Flexibility: Practicing yoga increases flexibility and ease of movement, therefore increasing range of motion. In particular, athletes and sports that require swinging action such as tennis, golf, baseball, etc., can benefit greatly. Flexibility in general also helps to prevent injury.
——————————————————————-🧘♂️Balance: Balancing poses in yoga improve overall balance in everything you do, preventing falls and injury. When you learn how to be soft and go with the flow, you can more easily bend and are less likely to break or fall over.
—————————————————————-🧘♂️Endurance: The endurance that the ease of yoga gives you lends to endurance sports like running, triathlons, and iron mans. When you learn to tune in to your body and mind, everything can be a Meditation – sports included. Yoga also helps you learn how to pace yourself, slow and steady, in it for the long haul.
————————————————————————🧘♂️Core: Almost everything you do in yoga works on your core strength. Strong core equals a healthy back and a healthy body.
———————————————————————🧘♂️Stability: Yoga helps strengthen all of the little stabilizing muscles that people tend to miss in other physical workouts and are vital in protecting your joints and spine. ——————————————————————🧘♂️Recovery: Yoga also helps put athletes back together after injuries. Again, you’re tuning into your body and giving it the care it wants and needs. Yoga also elongates all the muscles that athletes spend so long contracting, so it is a great counter – action.
————————————————————————🧘♂️Most importantly, yoga changes the way you think and approach everything in life. Yoga is not just for athletes but for everyone, With a doctors approval.
