[Lesson 7/30]: The self-esteem movement is overrated.
In the final analysis, it doesn’t really matter how you feel about yourself. What matters is how you act in the world and who you become along the way.
Thinking that you’re good the way you are actually prevents improvement because you can only improve if you first acknowledge what you’re NOT good at. And the truth is — you’re nowhere near what you could be.
True self-esteem (i.e. confidence) is based on competence. So grow the hell up, show some humility, and get to work. Stop caring about how much you “esteem” yourself for no reason and focus on what you’re doing every day to be a better person and live a good life.
Yes, treat yourself as if you’re a valuable individual, but focus more on who you can become than on who you are.

As Many Rounds/ Reps As Possible (AMRAP) ♻️
When going through a AMRAP workout there’s not much going through your mind apart from finishing the workout ahead. It is easy to go through workouts without pushing yourself but there’s not much benefit in doing that. Why not push to the best of your ability and look back at what you’ve achieved and be proud 🏁
You can adopt a similar mindset in your lifestyle by using the past to learn and the future to drive you forward. However it is crucial that we use this AMRAP mentality to live in every present moment so that you can look back at your past with pride and look forward to your future with optimism 🔎

One of the things I’ve noticed is connecting with a higher source on the day the energy is most high has allowed me to see if that part of ME is balanced or needs work...for instance today is SUNday the sun is associated with ego, pride, courage, image etc ..and I noticed all the thoughts since I woke this morning have been based off of times I either embarrassed my self, had an embarrassing moment , was bullied and when I did all those things to other people! Apparently I buried those emotions deep within and decided not to deal with them but ..because of my intent to heal, theses emotions have become noticeable..especially this year! ...pros: I’m clearing out bullshit that doesn’t belong or no longer fits my growth... cons: re living all the embarrassing moments from YEARS ago and even last week lol smh!!! ugh I mean I can feel this shit as if it was actually happening right now!...so allowing my ego to be activated and transformed instead of trying to “kill” it is leaving room for me to be who i truly am before I was hurt bullied shamed etc....you can use sun energy anytime of course but for me things are so much more clear when i utilize Energy consciously! I wonder what MOONday will bring this week💙🛸
Even if I am broken. Even if I am suffering and screaming on the inside, I’m not going to let it change me. I can’t! It’s not who I am or who I ever want to be. I am, just like you are, in control of my own emotions. I get to say when I’m happy and when I’m sad. Because I’m entitled to in just like you are. But understand this, just because I’m happy all the time, doesn’t mean I don’t deserve the right to be a little sad sometimes. And it’s ok.
