Cold nights. Warm cabins.
in a sky full of stars, you are the brightest one.
Travel is my thing but I’m yet to find a coastline I love as much as the south-west... where is your favourite part of the world?
Also known as ‘Monodon monocerus’ the Narwhal is an unmistakable animal.
The tusk is used to attract females and to fight off other males and in males, the tusk begins to form when they are about one year old.
The narwhal is one of just two species in the “white whales” family, the other being the beluga.
Narwhals typically have more dark coloration, however, than their solid white cousins.
Narwhals feed in deep waters near the ice edge, where they eat large fishes and squids that live on or near the bottom; scientists also report that they prefer cods and flatfishes.
Killer whales and polar bears have been known to attack and eat Narwhals.

The morning sunrise the day of the #bloodmoon
...There were big and little kids along the beachfront admiring the sunrise. 🌅 An important reminder to get off the wheel and notice the beauty in the world. 🌏 Sometimes it’s the small acts of kindness that make a difference on this pale blue dot. Writing a letter to a friend or loved one. Paying for a stranger’s coffee. Listening to someone who needs an ear. Letting someone know they matter and that you believe in them. Enjoying a cup of your favourite beverage. Exploring the great outdoors.
More of a PSA to myself today as the world needs to take a pause. A final note from the musings of Mrs G: ‘Does it make you happy, love? Well then go do that.’ ❤️☺️ 🤙#tuesdaymusings #seeaustralia #tuesdaythoughts #bekind #kindness
Top down Tuesday. More Freshy calmness.
Tell me if you agree.
Usagi’s travel tip number 1: If you’re not familiar with the terrain and it looks tricky, just smile to the sky and say “Hey universe, please don’t kill me today. Thank you.” ☺️
Tuesday views... guess who the 3 little black dots are? 🏝
You're gonna need a bigger boat ⛴
