RED COFFEE POT by Quistgaard (presumed) for Danish Glud & Marstrand in 1959 – beautiful vintage enameled coffee pot with Bakelite handle in very good vintage condition.⠀
A beautiful enameled steel coffee pot with a circular body and a slightly narrower neck, a long sprout, a distinctive Bakelite handle and lid with black circular metal piece. The pot has a band of black crowns near the top, which adds a stylish touch. The outer is glossy red, while the inside is coated white. Underneath hallmarked Dankok, Glud & Marstrand, Denmark underneath.⠀
The Dankok Series is a series of colorful enameled kitchenware, recognized by the charming band of black crowns toward the top. It was produced by Glud & Marstrand from 1959 to 1966 where production no longer was profitable. The distinctive Bakelite handle as well as the black metal piece on the lid is welded on by a special technique which we believe is designed and invented by Quistgaard, hence Quistgaard credited as designer of this piece. We also know that the first pieces of Quistgaard’s Købenstyle Series were produced at the factories of Glud & Marstrand, and the lid in this piece has the same “locking rod” as seen on the Købenstyle coffee pots, which only add to the suspicion.⠀
With its understated elegance and organic silhouette, this coffee pot has a timeless expression that suits both vintage and modern dining table settings. When not used, this beauty makes for a lovely Danish mid-century display piece.⠀

Hello folks ❤️ Today we watched hitchcock's birds and ate dinner with friends. I made my signature three curry dinner!😎 I can never take pictures when I cook as I am too stressed. But, the husband did, so just a quick post to show you the three curry dinner, which I always talk about as the go to the first time I have dinner guests 🙈
Its is a vegetarian meal of paneer butter masala (Indian cheese with cashew nuts), Chole or (chickpeas and onion curry), and jeera aloo (Potatoes fried with cumin)! I am no wizard in the kitchen, but these are reliable for first time guests, especially when served with wine 😉 oh and the husband made Turkish Kunefe as dessert, which was delicious, even though it was his first time 💃
The pictures are not great, but in the spirit of showing some instareality and proving I can cook 😉 let's have these ❤️ Happy Saturday 😘

Stylish Mid Century floor lamp – the STUDIO is designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in 1963 – in very good vintage condition.⠀
The STUDIO floor lamp is made of a circular copper base, from where a black lacquered metal arm rises straight up. At the end of the arm, sits horizontal gray lacquered arm which holds a copper shade. The upper part of the shade holds the bulb socket and features a black on/off switch (fully functional) at the top. The lower part of the shade features a white inner coating with a dark gray band near the bottom.⠀
When lit, the light is emitted both downward and upwards, which then illuminates the upper part of the shade. The shade is adjustable both upwards and downwards (for widening and narrowing the illumination), and rotates almost 60 degrees to the sides, enabling you to direct the light to where it is needed.⠀
A stylish floor lamp that would emphasize a mid-century decor in a living room or be a classic floor light in an office. The possibilities are numerous with this beauty!⠀
Originally produced in two different materials; copper and aluminum in 1963. Ten years later Fog & Morup introduced the STUDIO, now in brass with brown, green or brass lacquered shades.⠀
The STUDIO I have up for sale is the one of the first editions in copper, and it is in very good vintage condition with very few signs of usage and age. Please see the photos!⠀
All original including the original 1,8 m (5′ 10.9″) plastic cord with Euro style plug – which is easily changed to your specific plug. The on/off switch is placed on the top of the shade. Tested and fully functional.⠀
