What’s for dinner?? 😋😋💕🎀 Cilantro Lime Shrimp with Zucchini Noodles
1 lb (450g) shrimp, shelled and deveined
2 + 1 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup vegetable broth
1 teaspoon honey
Juice of 1 1/2 lime
3 medium zucchini, spiralized or cut into noodles
Salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
1 teaspoon lime zest
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped

To compliment this evenings meal, I paired it with a 2014 Tanat, a GSM blend from Washington State. A blend of 43% Grenache, 35% Syrah, & 22% Mourvèdre, rife with black pepper, basil, black currant, & dark chocolate notes. -
As a pairing strictly with pasta, this was a touch to overpowering but was a perfect accompaniment to the sausage. -
I made 4 pies today, did so much laundry because my son loves being in the dirt, cleaned my apartment and went grocery shopping. I was determined to make dinner for my family tonight and it was a success!👏👏All my faves in one bowl.💕#saturdaynightdinner#longday#momlife#stayathomemom

What’s Saturday night without enjoying some tacos?! 🌮
I grew to love tacos in college when my favorite taco place replaced my favorite pizza place 😂
When I graduated, I missed that restaurant so much. During grad school, a taco place opened up that was pretty dang close to my favorite taco place in Milwaukee. 🙌🏻
And then, that taco place closed and was replaced by a yummy pizza place! What are the odds?! This story comes full circle in a weird way, don’t you think? 🧐
Tonight I made tacos from Take Back the Kitchen. This recipe honestly tasted SO similar to my favorite tacos in Milwaukee. The taste was just so comforting and yummy! I’m glad that I now have a recipe to recreate one of my favorite college dinners, especially since I live so far from Wisconsin now. ❤️

Matt and I had dinner at Picos Restaurant. I had the Polo En Mole Almendrado Oaxaqueno, which is Chicken Almond Mole.
