Another Kitten Kaboodle comic! This is a lesson so few remember, but it is probably the most important one of all. Share it with your special some one or some one who could use the advice!!!💕
"The Price of Fame" from All Love no. 27 (Ace Magazines, 1949):
A common theme in romance comics... fame costs young women true happiness because it destroys their chances at love (one can't be an attentive, caring wife if their absorbed in their work!). Love the 'modern' painting in the background and the use of the record player--these details are a bit more progressive than what appears in some of the other romance publications.
The art reminds me of some early Tessie the Typist comics Pencils and ink by L. B. Cole, who worked on many other Golden Age publications. ... *

Decided to ink it! Some of the environment is cut off but thats okay!
An older sketch of Sky x Reya. Looking at this makes me happy as I’ve been under the weather the past few days. I really want make something from this eventually.
Gee Bunny, I'd be more freaked out that your friend HAS NO EYES!! The cover might be penciled by Werner Roth but it's certainly inked by Vince Colletta. From 1971.
That moment when your date really doesn't go as expected... "Out for No Good," Teen-Age Temptations no. 1 (1952): Teenage romance comics often featured girls running away with men thinking that they were going to elope. Usually, the men had no intention of getting married, or were only getting married for the wedding night. This theme reflects the general concern during the 1950s over the rise in 'naive' and 'irresponsible' teenagers getting married.
Of course, the teenager in question is wearing a red outfit, because she is misbehaving. I love the classic 1950's car scene. ...
