Signed three times – or is it four? Fifty years ago this week the Jimi Hendrix Experience played the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. This page is from the program commemorating the event, one of two gigs Hendrix played at the historic concert hall on February 18 and 24, 1969. Do you see three autographs? Seen in person, a careful examination reveals there are actually four signatures, as the patient Jimi signed twice – once as the green-ink pen wasn’t quite functioning properly, and once again as the ink flowed as intended.
