Like wildflowers; you must allow yourself to grow in all the places people thought you never would. 🌸
Ivy and Finn have been bred! We are hopefully expecting puppies November 16th, 2018. ❤️Unfortunately, Ivy and Finn’s last breeding didn’t take due to missed timing. Ivy will be going in for an ultrasound in a few weeks to confirm! Please contact us if you are interested in being kept up to date!
can we go back to summertime and country music festivals?
laying with my head against the kayak and watching the cold water kiss the mountains, the stark blue sky overhead, feeling the hot sun on my healing skin. Finally starting to feel better. Life is good. 🌞
Oregon surf checks with a bunch of goons 🤙🏼
It's been a while since I've done a compilation of my time-lapse work. Let me know what you think!
Heaven won't fit us tonight.
We love It when Mother Nature shows off 🍁
Aurora time lapse from last week. I have way too many trips planned for the next few months. Maybe even some 90° weather for a change.. •

Is this even Sedona?! Still my favorite camping spot in AZ.
The few photos I had seen of these mountains completely blew me away. I knew I had to make the pilgrimage to the Yukon backcountry. A 14 hour drive, and three day hike brought @nikkiriddy
and I to these mystical mountains. Only to find them hidden behind wildfire smoke blown in from Alaska. With moral wavering we decided to stay one more night, in exchange for an incredibly long hike out. Well it paid off. Although it would’ve been nice to have clear weather the entire time I preferred this outcome because it added so much excitement and respect for this place. After all, that’s what these journeys are all about..
If there is one thing Mexicans do well it is family time outdoors. This is one of endless places we have stayed where families gather on weekends to chill. Multiple generations are usually present, and cooking food on a flame grill is the norm. Natural sights are usually the gathering places: state parks, natural preserves, biospheres, or spring fed swimming holes like this. The overlander’s advantage is that during the week there is no one else around. We’ve enjoyed both experiences: solitude and full-on Mexican fiesta vibe and both are fantastic!! 💚🇲🇽❤️
Visiting Australia isn't complete without getting into the water and seeing the diverse wildlife of the reef.
Probably the coolest sunset of my life. We stood atop the crater rim of Rinjani looking down on the clouds and the ocean that surrounded the stunning Indonesian island of Lombok. You could see Bali and the Gili islands off in the distance where we had been just a week before. As we gazed at the world surrounding us the light turned gold with a reddish hue that lit up the clouds flowing swiftly beneath us. I smiled, I realized that moments like these are why we exist. We may go through struggles and pain throughout our life, but it is all so we can become stronger and be able to see these beautiful moments when they touch are lives. Take time to appreciate the beauty in your life today, even if right now it can be hard to see.
Certainty removes fear. Certainty also removes the faith it takes to be radically dependent on God. Therefore - it can be said that uncertainty brings us in closer relationship to who we need most.
I randomly met @leovongug
and his furry friend at the bottom of Toketee Falls last week. Fun fact, Leo actually lives just a couple of hours away from my hometown in Italy. This made me regret even more not taking @benthemountaindog
with me during this trip. But hey, more trips coming up soon 🐶🏔🌎🌍🌏
Finally finding time to venture out into nature again now the thesis is done & dusted. I stumbled across this forest a couple of months back on an evening drive and I think it is becoming one of my favourite little walks now 🍂 Can't wait to see how it changes as autumn creeps in.
