Stunning views from our guest house in Ghandruk. Machhapuchhre, the mountain on the right, has never been summited because it's sacred to Shiva, and is now off limits. A group of climbers, in 1957, climbed to within 150m of the summit but didn't complete the ascent to respect its religious significance #mountainfunfacts
📍 Tuscany, Italy.
The Castle of Sammezzano was built in the 17th century by Spaniard noble Ximenes of Aragon, before being revamped by a new owner into its current Moorish Revival architectural style and Arabesque artisanal details.

We've finally reached Pokhara and it's just incredibly beautiful. Lakeside is a paradise for Backpacker, there are so many small bars and cafes. We immediately fell in love with Pokhara and the Lakeside quarter and can only recommend it.
The picture is from our last day of the Trekk. Check also our Story to see the second highest bridge in the world. 😬
Several years ago, when we planned our trip from Ornskoldsvik to Jukkasjärvi, Sweden, Google maps showed that it would take 6 hours to get there. We did this in September and did not take into account the March weather. It ended up taking us 12 hours to get there instead due to there being about an inch of ice on the road for 200 miles. The really fun part was when we almost slid into a reindeer standing in the middle of the road. I couldn’t stop laughing and my husband white knuckled it the rest of the way to Jukkasjärvi.
What we got out of this is that while we can plan ahead (and far ahead like we normally do) we need to double check certain things like travel time as it gets closer to the trip to avoid weather / time issues like this. 😄

Let’s take our hearts for a walk in the woods & listen to the magic whispers of old trees ✨🌲
no toilet, no roof, no electricity, no ac (though it was already freaking cold). this bedroom is 98% all natural 😂 #tb #jaisalmer #noragrets
Jaisalmer non-touristic desert safari.. even though this desert is shared by india and pakistan, I didn't feel unsafe. on the contrary, this is an experience i would happily go back to.
for those interested, you can check out Ba's safari tour here 🙂 ➡️ basawalmirage.wixsite.com

I can truly say that this is the best way to see a city, soaring above like a bird. Paragliding is great!
flat custard ice cream served by the beautiful Maricel who couldn't hear us but felt our smiles. Sometimes we don't need words at all. Thankful for places that let them share their craft and talent thereby making the deaf and mute be "heard". ♥
Old books always have a place in my heart. I like thinking of the people who owned them and how it must have been like when they were all eyes at the pages in that moment of their lives. And now mine.
Amid the chaos of the natural world, I often find there is a soothing hint of beautiful order. To understand order, one must embrace chaos.
because I always get flowers on regular days unannounced, a tub of fancy popcorn (for a person who loves the cheapo cinema grade so much) made its way to me from hands that worked hard for every penny and thought that went to it.
what caught my attention: the heart behind it. and the sweat that came with getting it to me during rush hour on a Thursday Payday Valentine's Day.
Thank you tunes, was perfect ♥
