45 minute ride today with @allymisslove
followed by a 10 minute cool down ride. When I entered my ride I was flooded with high fives. I wasn’t really sure why but after the ride I noticed that it was my 20th consecutive day riding. Today I also got my gold award for the January riding challenge! ☺️ I’ve biked 153 miles so far in January... AND THERE ARE STILL 12 DAYS LEFT!!! I’m definitely on my way to 2019 miles in 2019. I love this bike and the fact that it motivates me every damn day. #peloton #ridepeloton #onepeloton #cycling #getfit #pushharder #yesoryes #weightlossjourney
Took the day off from running to do a 90 minutes bike ride. My legs needed rest. What’s your favorite snack to have during your long runs? I found out the hard way that I need to incorporate more water and some sort of carb snack. I heard of dry fruit, boiled salted potato pieces and different gels.
Week One if my test group done yo👊🏻 Also racked on a HIIT ride with the infamous @jmethod
I am 50 something rides into my Peloton addiction. I have never shared my exercise routines or fangirl thoughts on social media, but this ride...oh my god. @allymisslove
brought it and her words, vulnerability and honesty brought me to tears at least three times during this ride.
Ally, you are a rare, beautiful soul. Keep putting it out there because the world needs you. When you congratulated your sister for her milestone ride my heart almost burst. Thank you for getting up every day and sharing your true, positive energy with the world. You are making a difference. #LoveSquad #onepeloton #RidePeloton
Day 2: I recently got a #peloton
bike and was excited to use it. After only riding twice, I got sick for a week.
Today was my first day back on the bike! While it kicked my butt, I found my new favorite instructor who had a killer playlist (Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, Ace of Base 👌🏼) and motivated in a way that inspired me. I can’t wait to do more. #100happydays
Baptism by fire today with my first Power Zone Ride with @mattwilpers
. I’ve been absolutely intimidated with PZR and this morning as timing would have it, it was the live ride available. I’ve heard nothing but great things from @kimssosocial
, so I’m glad I didn’t choose another ride since I absolutely loved it. It was certainly challenging but in a way that I know will pay dividends for my marathon training. I built up this unnecessary fear of this ride only to discover I have so much to gain from adding these rides into my routine for cross training. .
Followed up my PZR with an 80’s Ride with @denis__morton
because my body was warmed up and feeling strong afterwards. Last night I made a new 80’s playlist with songs from Denis’ 80’s Rides which actually makes me look forward to running again. Only 10 rides away from hitting 400 rides but next week marathon training resumes, so I can’t wait to reach that milestone. .
What’s a fear that you’ve discovered was actually an asset? Happy Friday Y’all! ❤️
Workout: PZR, 80’s Ride and Low Impact 🚴🏻♀️
The first month of 2019 is more than halfway over, and I intend on finishing it with a gold-level performance. It's just gonna get better from here.
Be your own source of accountability. Nothing is going to change until you get fed up accecpting your own excuses. You justify your lack of effort, only to beat yourself up later on when you lament the missed opportunity to better yourself. Not taking action at a time when action is needed is called cowardice. But you're not a coward...are you?
DIAMONDS ARE CREATED UNDER PRESSURE. If you want to get better, if you want to get stronger, you need to do what’s NOT easy. You need to create pressure. You need to be consistent even when it’s hard. It’s what will help shape you. Without pressure, without consistency, without that uneasy feeling, you will not push yourself to achieve greatness. PRESSURE is what will help you unleash your best self.
Remember that a diamond doesn't start out polished and shining. It once was nothing special, but with enough consistency, pressure and time it becomes absolutely spectacular!
So who’s ready to shine bright like a diamond with me?

💯💛 “We get caught up in settling for what you got right now because you’re scared of what’s next.. you know what’s worse... settling... take a risk...”
Music is quickest shortcut to happiness. The first thing I did after my workout was download the playlists from today’s Pop Ride and 80’s Ride with @denis__morton
. You know it’s a great playlist when your heart beats to the rhythm of the music, you just want to shimmy your shoulders like a salsa dancer and can drown out the *noise* of life for those moments. Plus, taking a trip down memory lane of the 80’s is always a good idea, especially when “Take On Me” by A-Ha comes on and you have flashbacks of killin’ it at the Roller Rink in your double stacked neon socks and hyper color shirt (worst idea ever, lol). My recovery rides this week has meant that my hair and makeup only run to my cheeks like a sad clown clown, instead of my chin. However, my mood and body tells me that I’ve sweated my face to the floor. All my rides this week have been the best mood and energy changers ever. .
What song has the ability to be an instant mood changer?
January 30th I’ll be at the @onepeloton
studio in NYC for the FIRST TIME to celebrate my Century Ride with @jmethod
who first made me fell in love with the bike that goes nowhere. Looking forward to these back-to-back rides! Let me know if you’ll be there. #peloton #onepeloton #ridepeloton #jjscrew
