Want to sneak in a close-up of one of our regular adult female Green Iguanas. She's named "Spike" because of the spikes under her chin and on her back.
Originally "she" was thought of as a male. But we noticed her belly was pretty huge one day and was noticing lumps. Then the next few days she comes back and her stomach was empty. Also she kept looking in the backyard for places to lay her eggs. And noticed a big male (not our regulars) always in the backyard with her.
Unless you catch iguanas and look under their tale when they are smaller, then it's really hard to tell which sex they are just from the look.
I love Spike because she is so chilled and I could take as many pics as I want of her.
