A theme that has come up with my clients lately is some of them feel as though they aren’t doing very well in their lives…. Here’s the #truth
You are doing your best.
You really, REALLY are.
All of us are operating out of our very best, at every, single moment.
What is killing you though, is your UNREALISTIC expectations of YOURSELF.
So what’s the answer?
Stop being so damn hard on yourself.
Look at yourself with compassion and love. 🥰
Being gentle with ourselves, and recognizing where we are already excelling, will give you more energy to create more of the things you really want in your life.
Shaming yourself, and putting yourself down, especially for doing things you didn’t know, is not helpful.
Shaming yourself for not knowing better, or doing better in the moment, only leads to more self-resentment, which bleeds out into resentment of other people.
My recommendation… if wouldn’t say “it” to a child in pain, please don’t say it to yourself.
Shaming ourselves is ineffective and not helpful.
Recognize where you are beating yourself up, and make a conscious decision to tell yourself that you love yourself, and you are sorry for being so mean.
Then go do something nice for yourself. 💕
Loving and appreciating yourself will bring in more love into your life, and attract all the goodies you want. ✨
