This is our kitchen. Nothing special, definitely not huge, and rarely this clean (we’ve got company coming 😁). So where do we keep our recycling centre? Well... a little bit everywhere, we make due with the space we have and got creative. In our kitchen island, I placed two large containers, one for black bin recycling (paper, cardboard, etc.) and one for blue bin (metal, plastic, etc.). And I was able to fit a little tiny container in there too for our dirty napkins (we use cloth), hand towels and washcloths. Under our sink, we do have a garbage can. One day... one day we hope to be able to get rid of it, but right now we still need it. And finally, we have our compost bin on the counter where it’s most accessible. We empty it when it’s full into our city provided green bin and just rinse it. As you can see in the last picture, we also keep our wash cloths in a bin on the counter. The paper towels are now under the sink, but I honestly can’t remember the last time we used any. So yeah, that’s it, our cozy kitchen!
