Cat Tip of the Day: What’s the length of your cat’s litter box(es)?
This crazy lady decided on her own (without prior discussion!) that she would add an egg to my breakfast. Kinda tasted weird so I refused to eat it until she held the plate to my mouth. #kobiethetorby #난코비야 #rawfedcats

Let's talk Taurine!
What is taurine? 🤔
Taurine is one of the many amino acids that our pets need. Taurine can be produced by using other essential amino acids, if it is absent from their food. It’s especially essential for cats because they can’t produce it on their own.
What does taurine do? 👀
Taurine does a lot of great things for our pets! It plays a big role in the health of the heart. Taurine helps to build, strengthen and prevents muscle degeneration. It also helps support eye/vision health, neurological development, regulates the immune system and can help with liver disease, seizures and diabetes.
Should you add taurine? 🐾
We now know cats require taurine supplements. But what about dogs?
Since dogs produce their own taurine from other amino acids, it has been assumed dogs don’t need it. However, this isn’t the case! Dogs can only supply their own taurine when eating a healthy, meat based diet. If they are being fed a dry food diet, their bodies are not getting enough quality animal protein to support the other amino acids.
This supplement is a great way to ensure your pet is receiving enough taurine. Taurine is water soluble which means if too much is given, your pet will excrete the excess!
We freeze our raw meals at the peak of freshness and ship them straight to you, so no nutrition goes missing between box and bowl.
This is why I choose grass fed beef 🥩for my pets that is free of antibiotics, hormones, steroids and is grass fed until finished. I also feel better supporting farms that put more care into their animals, land and care about the environment. I tried to make this short but very informative. 🐮Some grass fed beef is only grass fed for a short time then feed unhealthy grains and hormones etc to fatten up before slaughter, this also causes cows to be unhealthy and the use of antibiotics is needed and usually added to their grains) This is “human grade” (referring to my photo and where I order) so this can be shared with your pets if you also eat meat or if you are like me, I just order specifically for the pets. This info can be helpful to people as well if they eat meats. It’s good to truly understand the difference in grass fed/grain fed. I can see a huge difference in the color/texture of a good quality meat as you can see from my photo (which is not filtered, just under my kitchen lights naturally). (If you are interested in where I purchase send me a DM, I’m noticing if you advertise a company that some tend to not like it if you are purchasing for your pets. So I keep this to myself when buying as I do not want them to cancel my account ( I know!! So dumb) you would think they would just appreciate your business.
As the name implies, grass-fed beef comes from cattle that are are allowed to graze on their natural diet of perennial grasses as opposed to being grain-fed. Perennial grasses are the natural food for cattle, so the practice of feeding them grain (corn, gmo’s soy etc) can cause a myriad of health problems necessitating the use (and overuse) of medications.
It’s an unfortunate fact that grain-fed cattle aren’t always treated in a humane fashion. They’re often packed tightly into feedlots, fed steroids, hormones and antibiotics throughout their lives, then led to slaughter in a stressful environment.
These factors all have a negative impact on the flavor and nutritional quality of grain-fed beef, as well as a damaging effect on our environment. 🐾 Continued below in the comment section🐾 for more details and nutritional info
