My motto has always been👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽♦️better fewer CORRECT reps rather than more but INCORRECT reps♦️ Doing fast and uncontrolled half reps will not only deprive you from gaining 💯 percent benefit from the actual exercise itself, but you’re also increasing your chances of getting injured. So go for quality rather than quantity. In a study, researchers analyzed health data from 1,104 active male firefighters collected from 2000 to 2010. During the 10-year study period, 37 CVD(cardiovascular) related outcomes were reported. All but one occurred in men who completed 40 or fewer pushups during the baseline exam. Rounding out "Nature Week" . . 2016 was a great year! I was in great shape, I lived basically on this beautiful beach, (Well, really about 50 yards) it was a full year after my divorce, (so I had time to reflect and just be me) and there was alot of excitement to be had. . . Not sure if you remember but, #22KILL was sweeping all of social media. It be was a pushup challenge to create awareness for veteran suicide prevention along with honoring military service members and veterans. . . 22 pushups everyday for 22 days. I distinctly remember how honored I felt each day. (Plus, I was getting stronger too. 💪bonus). . . After the 22 days were up, I decided to continue adding 2 pushups per day until I had reached a total of 100. (That was alot of pushups 😂) Everytime I just kept thinking how fortunate I was to be alive and prayed for the families of the vets who took their life. . . When I hear of another suicide or someone who's lost their life in the military, it reminds me of the challenge. Although, I cannot feel their pain and suffering I can always open my heart and pray for them. . . Have you ever done a challenge for a cause? 👇👇👇

Push Up challenge still going strong 🏋🏽‍♀️. Every morning, I roll out of bed and try to do ten push ups 🌿. I still have to support myself on my knees, but I do feel I am getting a little better at it. I never knew push ups were this hard, so that’s why it became one of my goals 🌲. Yes, yes, I know.. if it doesn’t challenge you, it will not change you. So there you go! ___ 🇳🇱 Iedere ochtend, tien keer. Ik heb nogal zwakke polsen, dus ik kan niet altijd goed op mijn handen steunen 🐛. Daarom liggen er twee beugels naast mijn bed waarmee ik iedere ochtend push ups oefen 🌸.
