F R O S C H - U P D A T E
I adore his smile, I cherish his hugs, I admire his heart, but most of all I love that he is my son. Happy Birthday, my Justin!🎉Love you lots!! 💗 #celebrate #birthdayboy #23 #proudmom
Sneak peak ..... so proud of these 3 yesterday 😀
I always wonder why my parents were very strict and particular with our eating and sleeping time back when I was young. Now that I am a parent myself, I realized that eating habits, sleeping timing and good health compliments each other and that all three plays a vital role to one another.
I do my best to set a timing for Jessie specifically during weekdays (on her school days) and even weekends. I set a parameter even if its a weekend because I do want to have a consistency and continuity of her routine. Summing it up, EATING early for dinner and Sleeping early at night makes my little girl a HEALTHY KID. Here are three BETTER REASONS why from Mama Jana:
1. BETTER SLEEP - late night or much later time than 6pm meals causes indigestion that interferes with sleep. Some of us thinks that eating at 8pm and sleeping at 10 pm is healthy, that two hours interval is not enough for our food to be well digested by our body, which means, it will give us more light sleep and robs off our deep sleep and REM sleep, which means you wake up more frequently. Light sleep is not healthy. We wanted more deep sleep and at least REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep or commonly known as our dreaming stage.
2. BETTER HEALTH- people who eat late at night tend to eat more. In addition, studies show that late-night munching increases triglyceride levels, a type of fat found in your blood. When you eat, your body converts any calories it doesn't use right away into triglycerides; and high levels may increase your risk of heart attack and stroke. As young as kids age, we do not want them to develop such illnesses as we want them to take good care of their body and maintain their prime healthy self.
3. BETTER ENERGY - for a better head start the next day, enough sleep gives us a full 100% energy to kick start our daily activities. Having said this, if we eat early, we have enough time to digest our food we can sleep much early. Not to mention uninterrupted good night sleep because we won’t encounter any midnight cravings or starving.
I hope these 3 BENEFITS enlightened us all! As early as young age, parents, let us do our best to train our kids this healthy practice. Make it a family habit! 😊

Min yndlingsperson i hele verden bliver 5 år i dag. 😍🇩🇰🎊
Good morning my friends...Happy Wednesday to everyone! How are you all doing today...are you better than you were yesterday?
Everyone has goals, and things that we want to accomplish every day, every week, every month. These are usually work goals and deadlines, and things that we're in a crunch to get done. I guess that's why it's called work...its so much more regimented than life.
But we should have life goals too, and things that we want to achieve. But the good thing for us is...its about the journey...not the destination. So if we are just a little bit better today, than we were yesterday , then we're on the right course...and that's a good thing.
We're not looking for perfection here my friends...we're looking for progress. So stay the course...we're heading down the right path. Have a great day everyone and let's all be the best we can be!❤
party in the house ehehehe my little angel my reason of living i love you to the moon and back
, I’d like to share a proud mom moment of my son at his White Coat Ceremony, a rite of passage for medical students. During the ceremony, a white coat was placed on his shoulders and the Hippocratic Oath was recited, signifying his entrance into the medical profession.
Not far from the Texas Medical Center where my son attends medical school is the Health Museum. This interactive museum is great for aspiring doctors and children who are fascinated with health, medical science, and the human body. Admission is free every Thursday from 2 pm to 7 pm.
