Thought my day was off to a bad start after seeing the low tire pressure on my dashboard and I already replaced two front tires this past week. But after hitting 225lbs x 5 for the first time ever, I’d say we are now off to a great start this morning. That 5th rep is ugly but it took me a little over a year to finally get it. But, with my trusty sidekick I woke up at 5am on a Saturday and crushed my cardio workout! Now time to get ready and relive my high school glory days at the big homecoming game! 🏈

Change is on the horizon and it has created space for deep introspection. Most the changes that have occurred in my life have come abruptly and with a sense of urgency, or as if an act of survival. Recently I was given the opportunity to share a part of my story and what came as a surprise, was that I found a strong sense of closure upon finishing this project, as if I closed a chapter to a large and repetitive chunk of my existence 🌀😓
I find myself now facing a change that has been made in a conscious effort to dive deeper into our pursuit of internal alchemy! Not because we need to, or because we're running away from something.... but because it's time. The world is becoming noisier by the day and now time has come to manifest the space that will nurture stillness. You can only grow from the inside out ❣️❤️

I had one of my students tell me last night that my flows were feminine and very sexual 🙊🙈
I'm probably best described as a tomboy in everyday life, but in my yang yoga practice I definitely try to summon Shakti energy! Asana itself means relationship with earth, and earth to me is mother. The sequences that I teach are portions of my own flow and I've been working to clear through the root and sacral chakra for some time now. I believe that being a woman in this day and age, there's so much room for womb healing and nurturing ourselves as sexual beings! I also believe that the modern day man has much to clear and seek balance in these energetic centres too. So as much as I'm shocked to hear the comment above, I'm so humbly grateful that this energetic intention has translated 🙏🏾🦋

class (thanks always for a spirited journey homie 🙏🏾). It seems daring to dream these days because of how much clutter our society has fed us. But when you feel safe inside, and brave that journey within... it is so vastly expansive and there are so many levels to these heights which you can feel safe to explore! ⬆️🌠
This is not raising the bar, or being a better version of yourself or any of that nonsense! It's about perception and releasing yourself of self limiting beliefs! We are infinite potential and I truly believe if we all took a little time to remind each other of this... you know the rest of what I'm gonna say 😜🤣
