I wasn’t super stoked to workout today BUT once i got into the gym i felt much better! I’m all for rest days and mental health days and not forcing yourself to workout because you feel like you “have to”. I think we need to focus on our physical health in a way that celebrates our bodies, not punishes them. That being said, sometimes I know i don’t feel like going to the gym strictly because I’m having a bad mental health day and those days sometimes i take off but other times (like today) i make myself get up and go and try and will my mind and body in to a better state. Hell yeah!!! 12min/ml 5k on the treadmill tonight! SORE!!!! I didn't get my fitbit started in sync with my run 👎 it was only 15sec off and 0.08ml off though. Alright folks, I've held out on ya long enough. Allow me to share this masterpiece I came up with last week. Baked spaghetti for 5SP per serving! You heard that right 😍 I hope y'all love it as much as I did. • • • 1 pound ground beef 96%lean salt and pep to taste 1 medium onion , chopped 15 ounces tomato sauce 6 ounces tomato paste •15 ounces crushed tomatoes 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1 Tablespoon dried parsley 1 tablespoon garlic powder crushed red pepper flakes to taste 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon granulated sugar 1 cup water • 8oz spaghetti noodles • 5oz fat free cream cheese • 2oz reduced fat shredded mozzarella • 3oz fat free mozzarella • • • Preheat oven to 350. Pull out cream cheese to let it soften. Brown the ground beef and onions in a skillet until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a big pot with all the listed ingredients except noodles and cheese. Simmer your meat sauce for about 30 mins, or long enough to let the flavors set in. Boil your pasta. Drain and mix the spaghetti noodles with the softened cream cheese until completely mixed throughout. Now layer half of the noodles, half the sauce, and repeat. Top with the fat free and reduced fat mozz and bake for about 20-30 mins or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy 🤗
This was me this morning, except replace bagel with smoothie.. and it wasn’t because of a hangover, it was because of some sort of bug that is trying to destroy me. I drank water and Gatorade and a green smoothie all day and then had a teeny tiny portion of ramen for dinner. I did a lot of very fun assistant fight directing and observing today. Still a baby 🍑, but them legs be gettin’ thikkkkkk. I’m pretty happy with my leg and booty gains over the last year. It takes time to grow them buns! It’s not overnight and it takes work! If you look back on where you were last year, what would you say is your biggest growth? I’m not just talking body gains, but how about life gains? I’ve gained A LOT of confidence, inside and out.

Today started ok. Had a great work out. I got little sleep last night. I feel the full moon. I am coming out of PMS. I've realized that my stress levels are out of control. Progress can be a frustrating thing. . It’s never as drastic, as quick, or as satisfying as we imagined it would be. . . We critique, criticize, and downplay our successes because we’re just never good enough. And more often than not we fall deep in to the comparison trap, feeling completely worthless compared to so many others who in our eyes are just rockin’ their progress. . . Whyyyy do we do this? Why can’t we just celebrate our success, big and small and truly appreciate the hard work of our journey? Why do we have to compare ourselves to everyone else? . . I truly wish I knew the answer! . What I DO know is every one is on a different journey. Every one has different progress to be made. And every success, big or small deserves to be celebrated, appreciated, and recognized. . . During today’s workout I remembered I had a video of me doing the same move on week one of this program. I decided to take a look and see how much progress I made and was genuinely proud and happy to see how much I improved from week one to week six! . Maybe it wasn’t anything drastic but dangit there is improvement and that improvement deserves to be celebrated! So, here I am celebrating with myself and all of you a kind of progress that isn’t about the number on the scale or the size of my clothes, it’s progress that took dedication and discipline to achieve. It’s progress I can be proud of.

It’s always a little shaky getting back into my routine after a few days off. . 👈🏼 You can swipe to check out the video . Getting back into your rhythm might be a little shaky, but before you beat yourself up (like I used to do when I would take some time off) just remember that taking time off is beneficial in many ways: . ⚡️ Giving yourself a mental break from your routine can help you to feel fresh and stay committed to your overall plan ⚡️ Cross training (any activity outside of what you normally do) can wake up different movement patterns or activate ones that normally wouldn’t get hit from your same old same old ⚡️When you take time off, especially for a weekend, you’re actually not “losing” any progress. Two or three days off doesn’t make a dent if you are consistent most of the time. . . A little wobble here or there isn’t bad, and sometimes a wobble is just enough to keep you wanting more! . . Do you ever feel like you’re losing out on progress when you take time off?

Still learning how to take them properly. 🤣 . *2. 21's Bicep Curls. 7 bottom to middle, 7 middle to top, 7 full. 3 sets. (Note to self, more control. Less swinging) . *3. 12 Hammer Curls superset with 12 Overhead Extensions. 3 sets . *4. 8 reps (both arms=1 rep) Overhead Lateral Raise Variation superset with 12 reps (do both arms) Single Arm Bicep Curl Variation. 3 sets.
