One of my biggest recommendations if you are on a fitness journey is to track your progress in 2 ways other than the scale. The two ways I use are below:
1. 📷Take photos weekly. I grab a front, side, and back angle, flexing and relaxed. When I go rouge on myself (lol last week) the photos remind me that one week wont kill me, but also stops me before three months of “life” go by and I wonder how I ended up there.
2. ✍🏼Goal reflection and setting – every Monday I go through my goals & New Years Resolutions using this process 👇🏼
a. What was the goal?
b. Current: where was I/where am I currently regarding that goal and WHY. ⏰
c. Action: What action should I take moving forward? It is often keep on keepin’ on, or implementing a new action to try to move closer to the goal. 💃🏼
I have grown immensely through these two processes because they put everything into perspective.
Tracking your progress is SO important if you are on a fitness journey for perspective, self love, & the ability to see the small changes the scale cant tell you about body composition, mental state, and where you truly are in your journey to achieve your goals. 🧠 💕 💪🏼
📸 Pick a day to take your progress pics/measurements... even if you don’t feel perfect. Even if you don’t look at them that day, take them, reflect later and use them as a tool to move forward.

first time i’ve done weighted glute bridges, started at bodyweight for 10 reps, then worked my way up to 10 reps at 100kg, absolutely buzzing with this and could definitely have gone a lot heavier. time to grow a booty🍑
