PART TWO: 'The exact cause of Lupus is still not yet agreed in the medical community today, but researchers say that genetics and someone's lifestyle play a part in triggering inflammation.' ~ draxe.com
The latter, I find, is very true. Lupus is somewhat a lifestyle disease which may be potentially caused by socioeconomic changes causing cultural/traditional norms clashing with modernisation leading to all the problems faced by women in our society.
The pressures we as women face to be more and do more than what our bodies can handle. We overthink, we overanalyze, we try solve everybody's problems but we can't take care of ourselves because it's "selfish" and that shouldn't be the case.
STRESS + WORRY + DEPRESSION + NEGLECT OF SELFCARE = COMPLETE DISASTER.
Our mind is weakened, in turn our body is weakened, immune system crashes and gives way to illnesses and diseases.
Dr Axe writes ~ Potential lupus causes include allergic reactions, viruses, emotional stress, estrogen disruption due to pregnancy or birth control, hormonal imbalances, poor digestion, and metal toxicity.
It really helps to reach out to a friend and TALK it out, VENT it out, POUR it out. Take time out to look after yourself. You are important too.
In Part Three I'll be talking about Lupus symptoms.
