One of my favorite parts of @hamiltonmusical
is the line “What is a legacy? It’s planting seeds in a garden you never get to see.” Leaving behind something that will last and has meaning. Not so much for us, but for those who continue to tell our stories, those who remember us, or want us to be remembered. I’m thankful for so many photos my parents and grandparents took, or passed along, so we can share them with the next generation. My daughter will never meet her great-grandfathers here on Earth, but she is learning their stories. She is getting to know who they are and how much we love them, where our families come from and how we’ve gotten to where we are. They are connected through time and stories. We all are. What a beautiful thing, don’t you think?
