Today may be a rest day and a day off for me by that doesn't mean I am relaxing. Go, go, go.
Today I am helping my build a few shelves in her kitchen.
About to leave home depot with some of the lumber and tools to do this.
I actually missed doing stuff like this and as a bonus it helps my mom out.
1 of my many bonuses of having my jeep...I can transport lumber...
After 8 weeks. Yes I said 8 weeks, maybe even 10 to be honest. After recovering from surgery and getting my life back to some semblance of order I finally feel good to workout. And I feel amazing afterwards.
I didn't realize how much I needed, missed, and wanted it. Working out had become such a crucial part of my routine, hell my life before the accident. It feels good to have that back.
The best part is that I could do it in the comfort of my own home. I didn't have to feel awkward working out and looking like a fool in front of others, let alone not liking what I looked like after months of not working out.
So for the next 12 weeks I will go to my garage and spend 35 to 45 minutes...depending on the workout and improve my body, improve my health, improve my fitness and my overall life.
