Resin chickens almost here!!
It’s been a long time coming, but finally have some resin gear to be released!!
The bases still need a clean as these are straight from the mold, but gives you a great idea of what to expect.
These are a Polyurethane resin with a metallic surface finish. It’s an opaque finish, but I will launch Epoxy versions too once I work out the curing issues im having.
The PU resin is half the cost and a much faster turnaround, so more budget friendly, but the colours that you get from the epoxy is insane yet slim the in coloured clear.
The resin pocket candy chickens will be dropping on the Etsy shop very soon.

When I was about 6 or 7, I used to walk to school past a high stone wall. One of the stones in the wall curved inwards and the curve was so smooth to touch, my friends and I called it The Fairy Stone. We used to run our fingers over it every time we passed.
I found this inner shell whorl on the beach a few weeks ago and it’s been in my jacket pocket ever since. I keep putting my hand in there and thinking ‘I should take that out’, but then my fingers rub over the smooth shape and I leave it in there.
40 years after the ‘fairy stone’ I have a more portable ‘fairy shell’ that I think my 6-year-old self would also have loved.
Anyone else have a pocket talisman?
