OHMAHLAWD. THIS WEEKEND HAS ME CRYING.
My pink skirt is pretty much done and ready to be attached. I can't actually wrap my head around this fact. It took me a lot longer than I wanted, but it's super tough to make anything in my shoe box of an apartment. xD
I started by doing a base pin to my dress over the tulle. I found that the length was PERFECT with some pleats. The skirt was 100% draped. Once I figured the length was perfect, I was unpinned and the pleats were serged in. Today I got the lining pinned to the skirt and cut (which was a serious ordeal). Once the lining was stitched in place I flipped it and drew the scallops on like the sleeves.
They. Look. AMAZING. So worth the work! I finished pressing them, took the mass off my ironing board and cried because I was so worried this would look terrible... xD
Dad, you said when I was 118 years old, I could go out in the world, you gave me your word.
I’ve been wanting to do a Mavis cosplay and reuse this hair since I did Sam from Danny Phantom. I’m happy I finally did it. This movie made me laugh so much!!
"She did everything she could as Pink Diamond. But her status meant nothing to Blue and Yellow. So she decided to make a stand, as someone they couldn't ignore." There are a lot of different ways to create change. There's calling legislators and officials about issues, sharing beneficial legislation and candidates with others, planning events to support voters and activists, planning, supporting or attending demonstrations and of course, voting.
Vote.org can confirm if you're still registered, register you if not, tell you where your polling place is, and help you get an absentee ballot if you'll be working or unable to vote on Election Day!
